When a child is tall enough but not brave enough..

Oh yeah, Child Swap is a wonderful thing! my son when he was five wouldn't ride anything either! we also managed to get him on Splash Mountain once, fussing the whole time and he would NOT ride any of the other rides. When he was 10 he did a 180 degree turn around and POW, he was adicted! NOW I can't get him OFF the things! give him anything fast, squigly or scary and he's a happy guy! Tower of Terror is his favorite, then Big Thunder, Space Mountain, RR Roler Coaster etc. He can't WAIT to try Expedition Everest! So, hang in there and maybe eventually you will all be able to ride the same rides. Helen

"How can using FP not work, put a crimp in your touring, etc? Child Swap puts you in that FP line anyways - not a head of the line pass..."

Not the OP, but I think she meant that you can only get fastpasses for ONE ride in a certain time frame. For instance, if they get FP's for Splash Mountain, they then can't get FP's for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad until the FP time on Splash is up. This means if they want to ride BTMR right after they're done riding Splash, their family will have to wait in stand by line twice (first mom in line, then dad while other parent stays with non-rider). This could take up a lot of time.

Yes, but that's the way it works for everyone - one FP per customer... so everyone who wants to ride BTMRR after using FPs at Splash either gets the FPs when the timeframe is open for them again, or they wait in the standby line... Why do they expect different treatment?

if that is the case.. that is so terrible! Mine is scared of everything.. but I think she will be shy of just an inch..
