We just came back from MVMCP and it was wonderful. This time, my mother decided to come with us. Although she is not confined to a wheelchair, she cannot walk very well and we brought one for her. The CM's, as usual, were wonderful We were amazed how how they took care of Mom. And, yes, she even rode Star Tours!

Our biggest problem was the monorail ramps at TTC. I couldn't believe how steep they were. Pushing a wheelchair up or down was very, very difficult. Have others had the same problem? Is there an elevator that we weren't aware of?

Anybody have and tips they could share for our next trip with Mom?

Thanks.

Yes, other people have noticed those ramps at TTC and MK too. I agree they are very steep and all I have to push up is 85 pound DD in her 40 pound wheelchair (plus about 10 pounds in her backpack).
No, there are not any elevators there (at least not that I have heard of).
There are elevators at Epcot (I've heard about them, but never seen them) and, of course, at the MK resorts, you enter the monorail at a regular floor level.

I agree those MK and TTC ramps are killers. The elevator at Epcot is on your right after you go through the entrance to the monorail. It's not easily spotted as the door is on the back side of what appears to be just a structural support for the monorail.

The ferry is easier to use to the MK than the TTC monorail ...if water levels are high enough. They have been on our last couple of trips.
