I really do apologize for having offended some on this post. It really was not meant that way at all. I was just voicing my opinion and my family's opinion.
FYI: Last February, I went to Magic Kingdom. We were there by 10am and they were out of strollers and regular wheelchairs. I could hardly believe it since the park had only been open 1 hour.
As far as my bus story, the point was I should not have to ask someone else to give up their seat. No one should have to ask this man you give up his seat. My feet were hurting and my socks were covered in blood from blisters, but I still got up. That man was given the opportunity to do the right thing and he did not. It was not just me who was staring this man down. The people my sister and I gave our seats up for were quite livid too. Also, it's really hard not to notice people around you when the bus is packed.
Once again, I apologize.

Plenty of room to share on this big old world in my opinion.
I got tired quicker, and had to go back to the hotel and rest. I had constant feet and leg cramps too. I saw A LOT of older people who looked like they NEEDED a EVC or Wheelchair, but I guess didn't know, or couldn't afford it.
I am mearly pointing out the misconceptions about WC and
. I have high blood pressure/migraine headaches but that won't slow me down. I have hashimoto's hypothyrodism but that won't slow me down. I'm hitting 41 during the trip but that won't slow me down - I'm getting better with age
. I've had a broken ankle 3 times in the last 2 years - lots of walking and it swells up impressively!-but that won't slow me down. I have severe exercise enduced asthma but that won't slow me down. I take insulin for diabetes but that won't slow me down.
- ( read that as not showing much yet ) with all of these health issues which make this pregnancy a high risk one. My OB and the other 5 doctors that are helping me to bring this baby into this world as healthy as we can, have agreed that I can take this vacation if I swear that I will use a wheelchair for all the walking to minimize the risks associated with my pre-existing health issues to this pregnancy.
You have all my best from a 41 year old hypothyroid momma!
Oh - great - then this won't apply to me - We rented a minivan! Thank you, though!!
