wheelchair in wdw parks?

my dad is going with us in september and just got emergency knee operation. might have to end up using a wheelchair...anyone with any experience using one in the parks?

I've used wheelchairs and ECV's in the parks. They really aren't that hard to manage. The toughest part is getting used to parking on the transportation buses. Rent from Walker Mobility or Buena Vista Scooters. I would go over to the disability board as they have a lot of experience with this question there.
