Hi all my bother has musculat Dystrophy ans cannot walk, he is in a motorized wheelchair. He is a horror fan and really wants to go to HHN next year. Does anyone know if they let wheelchairs into haunted houses? Manual and electric?

There is one accessible buggy at Haunted Mansion at WDW.

It is a regular car, except that it has a hinged door. The seat is approximately the same height as a regular wheelchair seat, so depending on your brother's upper body strength, or with your assistance, he should be able to make a sliding transfer. Identify yourselves to the CM at the entrance and you will be taken around to the exit side where they can stop the entire ride while your brother transfers.

You can also ask to go into the 'stretching room' though you won't be able to continue into the ride load area. You will have to go back out, then go around to the ride exit.

We took DS to HHN last year with a manual wheelchair and he had a blast, we weren't aware of any areas of the houses which were not accessible to him, although when I posted here for advice some people said there were areas upstairs. We certainly didn't come across them, although we didn't do all the houses.
I would be more cautious with a power chair as there are some very tight turns in the houses and they are all very dark with some fog and strobe lighting too. A few areas have rough textured and bumpy floors. There are also a lot of areas with hanging stuff which could be pretty unpleasant for a wheelchair user who couldn't use both their hands to brush it aside.
We used some glowsticks on DS's chair just to mark it for others as there is also a lot of alcohol served and we were scared of anyone bumping into the chair in the dark and getting hurt or injuring DS. This proved to be a good idea as there were a couple of near misses.
The scare actors in the houses were brilliant, some coming right down to DS's level in the chair to give him an extra scare. We would definately do HHN again just because he had such a great time. And there I was worried it would be too intense for him!
Be sure to get in line very early for the Bill & Ted show as wheelchair spaces there are very limited, we had to wait in line 3 times before we got in and that wasted a lot of time.
Hope you have a blast!

Just for clarification;
HHN is a haunted house at Universal (not sure what HHN stands for exactly since we have not been there, but it is at Universal).

HHN stands for Halloween Horror nights which is short for the actual event name.

Thanks.
I knew it was similar to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween.
