I will be taking my Nana soon to DL/DCA and I convinced her that it would be in her best interest to let me rent her a wheelchair. So reluctantly agreed. My questions are how much are then anyway? And do they have some sort of pouch on the back to hold items? Any info would be much help. Thanks.

I just read about this. There is a $25 deposit. $10 for manual and $35 for electric. You rent them from the area but the strollers just under the tunnel

I visited once w/ an adopted niece that had difficulty walking (birth defect), so we rented her a wheel chair. It wasn't difficult to get around the park, the entire party got to use the handicap entrace for the rides (which mean pretty much zero wait time), and the handles made great holders for all our bags/backpacks (she was being pushed, so it didn't put a strain on her).

I don't remember them having any pouch tho...that was back in '03 so they could be different by now.

The regular wheelchairs do not have a pouch. The ECVs have a basket in front to carry items.

Also, a good fact to know is that California Adventure is fully wheelchair accessible. Some rides have special wheelchair vehicles that don't require the user to get out of the chair. :thumbsup2
