The flooding rains are gone, and now we go to the flip side.
Hot and VERY HUMID. We are supposed to hit the 100 degree mark this afternoon. So much for gradual changes.

DFW stands for Dallas/Fort Worth Intl Airport in Texas.
British Airlines and My employer have direct flights out of Gatwick here.

right now it is:

87 Degrees, winds at 9 knts from the north, 10 miles visibilty, Scattered clouds at 30,000ft. Altimeter is 29.97

I played golf last night and darn near passed out. It was HOT and Muggy. No wind. And those nasty misquitos were out. Smacked a couple and my hand/fingers got all bloody...It was GROSS!!

It was horrible here yesterday afternoon and last night! We had tornado warnings, and really heavy rain, and flooding.

I stopped at the grocery store after work, and I ended up driving home as it had just started. I lost power for about a half hour, and the whole street was flooded.

This morning trees were down and some people still were without power. This was all in PA.

It's been almost as bad up here as it was when I lived in North Carolina!
