Almost had a disaster today. I'm the office manager for a law firm and the copier informs the copier company when they should send out more toner to us. Today after printing a large amount it said toner needs replaced. I checked and the company had gotten the alert two weeks ago but it was on backorder. Scheduled to ship 12/17! Amazon said I could get one by 12/22. I called in and they looked in the back room and found a toner inside a traded in copier so it's on the way to us. She said it's a nationwide issue.
Not sure how we would have functioned...we have an old slow laserjet to print to but it doesn't make copies. Would have been nice to know there was a backorder in place before it was an emergency.
