What's Your "Secret" Ingredient?

I am pretty good at throwing some stuff together and making a meal that tastes pretty darn good. My "secret" ingredient is salad dressing/vinaigrette. I brown chicken breast pieces in Mediterranean Greek vinaigrette, and/or throw a splash of Parmesan Caesar vinaigrette in the pan as well to add some extra flavour. I used both the last time I made Chicken Tetrazzini and we nearly licked the pan, it was so good and flavourful! Sometimes I will throw some in the crock pot with a pork roast or chicken breasts...makes an awesome sauce!

Do you use anything unexpected, or in a untraditional way, that gets great results?
