What's your search strategy

In the past, when I've searched the website, if I entered "dinner" in the search box, it wouldn't necessarily find a 7:00 pm ressie, but if I typed in 7:00pm some slots would pop up. I'm looking for several last-minute grabs, and I wonder if by using the main page, where you search all restaurants by date, using the general meal "window" (ie: breakfast, lunch, dinner) do you think I'll be able to see all the times that are available? I have NEVER had this much trouble getting some of these ADR's before-- I have carpal tunnel from hitting refresh so much

I have always done the main page. Occasionally the select restaurant. It does not seem to make any difference. When Disneys website crashed as I was booking BOG I kept searching on both our computers. One on the main page one for the restaurant. BOG showed up on both at the same time.

Now as time is getting close I find it fun to search on the main page. Some really good ADRs have come across in the last 2 days. They have never lasted long though.

We are 9 days out so it seems that is a good time to check.

Lately I've been mobile, so it's easier to search by specific restaurants - I have them on my "wish list" on the mde app. I'm finally down to just checking 3-4 restaurants ha! I've been doing both types of searches; specific times and B/L/D.

You're right I noticed that too. When you book from the main page and put in breakfast it will give you from like 8-10 and lunch will be like 11:30 to 2 (those are just examples) but it doesn't show you the hours in between which I think can prevent people from finding an ADR that may be there. When I search I usually put in a specific time to search.
