Just wanted to ask everyone what their favorite view is when staying at BCV and why.

We haven't been there yet and I just wanted to see what the general consensus is although I'm sure each view has its pros and cons.

Also, what does everyone prefer between a dedicated or lockup in the two bedroom units?

Thanks!

Deb

if you are going with children - definitely the dedicated - if you are traveling with another couple - then the lock-out

I love the EPcot view - looking out at Spaceship Earth was great - we were on the 5th floor.

We were also on the 5th floor, room 557 and had a view of Canada, France and Illuminations at night. Also could see Spaceship Earth and the tops of Imagination and The Land. We had some road noice but only noticeable when the door to the balcony was open.
Great location!

We had a pool view last summer and I loved it. When you look at the pool it's colorful during the day and beautifully lit at night, like a carnival. It was also quiet. Our room was close to the elevators and the laundry room. It was #412 and I thought this location was practically perfect in every way!

Love the Spaceship Earth and Illuminations view. Yes, there's a road, but from the 5th floor I never noticed it.

I don't travel with enough people to use a 2 bedroom so I can't answer that one.

Over the summer I had a pool view in 305, and This month I stayed in room473/75 epcot /illuminations view.

Now I thought it was really cool to wash your dishes while looking at spaceship earth, and illuminations was also very cool to see at night, but the truth is I was busy and only saw illuminations once. When I had the pool view, there was a beautiful view every time I looked out, and another benifit I could keep an eye on my teenage sons if they went for a late swim.

305 ( the pool view) seemed to be close to everything, but the epcot view was a much longer trek.

I would do epcot view again just to have the experience, but I think next time I am going to request the pool view.

Definitely 5th Floor Illuminations/Epcot View!

We were on the 2nd floor, with a great view of the Christmas Tree (we were there in early December). It was great! Looked like it was lined up with our window.

Last October we had a 5th floor epcot view for the first night. It was great to watch the fireworks, but not great to sit on otherwise. The road noise spoilt it for us. We moved from our Studio to a 1 bed for the next four nights, not because of the view, and were given a pool view. I liked that better. I don't like to hear traffic on holiday.

We love the Epcot side, 4th or 5th floor with a view of the illuminations fireworks and Spaceship Earth. The view of the road didn't bother us at all and we didn't hear any noise with the balcony door shut. One of the reasons we love this so much is that our kids are young so we would come back to our room most nights, give the kids a bath, put them in their pjs, cook some popcorn and then go out on the balcony and watch the fireworks. Afterward, we just put the kids to bed.

We also prefer the dediated 2 bedroom because the kids are young and we don't want them to have a door out into the hallway. Also, in the dedicated you can get 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom so each of our kids can have their own real bed.

Pool side is nice, quiet, nice lighting, greater availability, and no road noise. BCV really isn't the place for great views comparied to BWV.
