The question is - how many points does everyone have? Please post answers to these questions:

1. How many total points do you have?
2. Do you prefer Studios - One Bedrooms - Two Bedrooms - Grand Villas?
3. Do you use your points for off-property stays (Cruises, Disney Collection, Adventurer, Passport, Conceirge)?

I'll start:
1. 175 at Saratoga (hoping to add more with BLT)
2. Generally Studios - but we like the extra room in a One Bedroom
3. We've used our points to stay at the Grand for 2 nights

We prefer 2BRs if the whole family is going (by whole family I mean me (50 year Mom) and two daughters 14 and 19. We love having the second bedroom so that everyone has a comfortable bed and the "teen" clothing mess is out of sight!! When DD14 and I go alone, we usually get a 1BR and share the king size bed - we love having the washer/dryer and living room space. When we are low on points or I want to stretch a solo trip, I'll stay in a studio - but it's always my last choice!)

We've never used our points anywhere but Orlando and Hilton Head

Always stay in 2br villas! Boys get their own beds(important for my Aspie DS) and the 2nd bathroom. I pack less and use the W/D. May go for a GV if we bring my sister or niece along.

Just use my points for DVC units(one day I'll try HHI).

Have another T/S and in process of buying another, so I use those for my non WDW trips. Just got back from Park City, UT.

2. We are a family of 4. DH & Me (39 & 37), DD14 & DS11. So far we've stayed in a 1BR & 2BR and now it'll probably be 2BR's from now on. As DVCLiz said, it's sooooo nice to have the teen girl mess out of sight I knew I wanted the 2BR's but after our trip a couple of weeks ago, DH is the convert

3. Only used our points at the World, but may try to get a trip in at HHI this fall.

1BR's generally speaking. Have stayed in a 2BR once, Studios a few times.
Have only used our points for DVC resorts

2. Generally Studios - but in 2009 we are trying out the 1BRs
3. We've used our points for our 2008 7-night stay at Disneyland's Paradise Pier Hotel, as well as our 2007 7-night Eastern DCL. We plan to go to England (via II) and to book one of the DLRP hotels in Paris - all on DVC points in 2010.

- We prefer 1BR's but have stayed in 2BR's as well.
- We went to Grove Park Inn, Asheville, NC last year - it was VERY nice! We have been to HHI and are going back in Sept - it is AWESOME! VBR is coming up in November!

* Never stayed outside of WDW with our points. Might do cruise, but the points at WDW seem to be the best value.

More points are a must for our family! Looks like there will need to be a DVC Purchase in our near future.

We have 250 @ SSR.

I prefer a 1 bedroom because a 2 bedroom means my in laws are coming!

We have yet to use our points to stay off property, but the exchange for the Marriott in Aruba looks tempting.

We like one bedrooms, but also stay in studios sometimes. Our plan to stretch our points is to stay for a night at the beginning of our stay at the Dolphin using our Starwood points.

Not yet, but we are considering using some points for a stay at the Grand Floridian in 2009.

2)We use them for studios, 1 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms, just depends on the trip and who is coming with us.

1.) We have 1,140 pts. (HHI, OKW, SSR & AKL)

2.) Depends where we go...HHI usually 1BR or 2BR if we take family. WDW usually only need Studio or 1BR because we are not in the room as much.

3.) Yes to this question for sure! We have used II a few times and DCL about 10 times. I think II gives the best value for traveling outside of Disney and sometimes my DH needs a short break from Disney (not me though!)

2. Studio (it's just the 2 of us)
3. This September will be our first trip. We're hoping to bank points to do a Disney cruise some day in the future.
