What's your maximum acceptable wait time...

I won't wait longer than 30 minutes for anything and then I would have to REALLY want to ride/see it. We are in the been there done that and know we are coming back mode that we don't spend a lot of time in lines.

Ditto this

30 minutes - weather and the specific ride/attraction factor into the wait time. We'd wait 30 minutes for Space Mountain because we like the ride and most of the waiting area is inside. We would NOT wait 30 minutes for Soarin' even though the wait is inside, I really don't like the ride enough to wait that long.

I hate to admit this, but I've waited 2 hrs, 15+ minutes before. It was when they first opened Disney MGM Studios. and the shortest wait time was 1 hour, 45 minutes. Needless to say, in 8 hours we only saw 4 things.
I'm a pretty patient person and I don't mind waiting.

30 mins, but that was in FP- days...

We got in a 30 minute line at SW and waited 100 mins - never again, nothing is worth that kind of wait!

20 - 30 mins ...

20 usually, but will stretch to 30 for various reasons for some attractions.

we went in the slow season and our longest wait was only 15 min so I don't think I would ever wait more than 30 minutes unless it was haunted mansion I might wait 45 for that

With legacy FP, we wouldn't get in a standby line if it was more than 30 minutes - we'd just FP it for later or wander back that way later hoping for shorter waits.

Our last trip, DD and I got in line for RNR because the wait time posted was 25 min...as the line wound around to where you finally get inside, it changed to 1 hour. GRRR. But, like others posted, we were "committed" to waiting it out by then LOL. I think the only time at WDW where we knowingly got in a line with a wait longer than 30 minutes was Expedition Everest when it was still very new.

I would say in general our Max is 20 min with the very occasional willingness to wait 30. We always go during off season, use a crowd colander and arrive for rope drop. We ride popular rides first and use fast pass for more crowded times during the day because there is just no way I would wait much longer.

We have been to disney several times though and usually stay around 10 days so we never feel like we have to wait for most rides. If it was my first trip like yours and we were not going back for a while I would be more willing to wait......maybe:)
