What's your first dinner?

The good news is you won't need to eat the next day because you'll be stuffed from dinner here. We usually end here. Enjoy the meal.

Eek, really? We have 1900, Le Cellier, and Whispering Canyon the next day, LOL. Good thing we like to eat.

we always eat at beaches and cream fun and great if you don't know exact time of arrivial

We're scheduled for 1900, but I've heard so many bad things about it!:scared1:I guess if it's horrible, there is nowhere to go but up! DD will really get a kick out of seeing Cindy and friends though.

Our adr isn't until 7:30, is it going to be packed and crappy?:confused3

:rotfl: There is no way I could do this. My advice would be to lay off the bread at V&A. The stuff is so good and as soon as you put the last bite in your mouth, the bread ninjas are there to replace it. Try not to eat more than one piece and you might be able to eat the following day.

We always go to Coral Reef the first night! That was our very first dinner ever at Disney and Sally Jo, our server, made it extra special magical for us and our son (who is autistic and was celebrating his bar mitzvah at the time). That magic just continues to rock our worlds to this day and we always enjoy our first dinner to set the tone for the whole trip!!!!

We start off with Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh & Friends. When we are finished with dinner it's perfect timing to light up the castle! It puts u in the perfect Disney mood!

We had a great time at 1900 last January. The food is nowhere near as bad as people say it is. It's certainly not the best food I've had at Disney, but it's not anywhere close to the worst. We had several tasty things, delicious desserts, an attentive server and great character interaction. GREAT character interaction. Enjoy!

Most of our trips, we've actually driven to CityWalk at Universal and dined at Emeril's. The last two years taht has changed because last year we were with friends who had never been to Disney so we didn't want to take any time away from the park and this past September we had a mini-trip. So of the times not eating at Emeril's, our first dinner has been Mama Melrose in most instances with the Fantasmic Package.

We're eating at Coral Reef our first night in January! Love that place, we always eat there every trip!

If we are not going into a park our first day it is somewhere in Downtown Disney like Cap'n Jacks or Planet Hollywood.

If we are going to a park it will be somewhere like China in Epcot.

Les Chefs de France in EPCOT. Never been and wanted to try something new. :goodvibes

We did Whispering Canyon last time (I think on the advice of people here). We were staying at the GF, so enabled us to ride the Monorail, a boat, and see a different resort...plus, after traveling much of the day, it was loud enough to mask any "behavior" issues DD (almost 5 at the time) might have.

It worked out so well that we're planning to do the same for our April trip. Having said that - might plan differently if DD were able to stay up for fireworks/parade - but she still needs a pretty early bedtime.

And FWIW, we had two meals last time at 1900. We were there at a relatively quiet time (early Jan) but had *great* interaction with all of the characters - probably the best of any of the places we at (CP, CM, CRT...). And I would have said the food there was slightly better than CP - surprised to hear bad things about it.

We're doing Chef Mickey's for our first meal, it will be our first trip as well. Our first day in the parks we are starting the day off with breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table.

We have 4pm ADRs at 50's PTC ...Dh has been talking about the pot roast since last trip. Also our first night is the last night of O! Lights, so I wanted to make sure we were at DHS to see them.

We will be staying at AKL-Kidani and we will be eating at Sanaa for the first time. We figured after that we could head over to the Magic Kingdom for the parade and fireworks!

We always go to a resort restaurant our first night, usually Kona Cafe. We don't go to the parks on arrival day but it's nice to do something other than stay at the resort. And then we can watch Wishes from the Poly beach!

We spend our first day in the Magic Kingdom and usually pick a restaurant at one of the monorail hotels for an early dinner that will allow us to get back to the parks in time for Wishes. This year it's Kona Café.
