What has been you favourite month / season that you have been to Disney Land Paris and really enjoyed it???
What month or season would you recommend to others and why?

We are going in 10th November 2008 (Christmas Season)
Im sure the atmosphere will be magical and festive but im not so sure about the cold weather/ rain also the crowds as i know the xmas season is popular and crowded.
Even though we will NOT be going during a school holiday or weekend.

I've only been there once in Dec for the Christmas season and although we froze like never before LOL... it was SO amazing and magical and totally unforgetable. I think about it all the time. I loved it.

We are hoping to go back this Summer which im really excited about because it will be totally different again- a different experience for different weather.

We are looking forward to going during the Christmas Season but i think i would quite like to try the summer next time, but definately not during the childrens 6 weeks summer holidays... perhaps a few weeks before.

I think I've done all the months over the years. When there is an event on it is always more special than just say summer months. Thinking about it - its been a long time since we were there in summer months although we've been in April and October and had tshirt weather in both those months.

Xmas - always magical and yes busy even when not school hols but you can't beat standing watching the parade with a hot chocolate.

Easter - Any excuse to eat extra chocolate is always welcome.

Halloween - Fab decor and the Halloween party was an experience.

Bonfire - Fireworks round Lake Disney are busy but lovely.

MY favourite month though is one that I've got cheap flights for and the crowds are not to much.

Christmas without a doubt has been my favourite season so far - we went mid-November, midweek, and it was cold, and raining, but the parks were quiet, and the decorations, and Enchanted Candleabration - wow wow wow.

I've also been in Feb and October (low seasons at DLRP).

This year, I'm planning for early June (again, low season but hoping for lovely weather) and then mid-October (for Halloween season).

My favourite season is the offpeak season since its quiet (ish). I haven't been at peak season for a couple of years now since I can sneak trips in between exams etc.

No really, Halloween is the favourite, although its about the only celebrated season I've been

While we love the parks being open later in the summer and there is a certain buzz at this time of year our favourite is still Xmas season. If you are a lover of this time of year Disney bring it on in spades :goodvibes

Halloween is still on our today list as a season that looks like the parks have come of age :)

Halloween definately although haven't actually been there for the Big Night, but hoping to rectify that this year.
Christmas is well worth seeing and probably appeals to younger children more.

Hoping that 1 year we may spend our summer holiday there, I like the idea of relaxing around the NPBC pool in the day and hitting the parks in the evening. :)

Christmas season, and out of experience, it's nnever been crowded as long as you avoid the Christmas vacation and the weekends.

Christmas season, we went a couple of years back for the day during the week. It was freezing but I really enjoyed it:goodvibes

We've been 4 times in summer, 3 times at Christmas and 2 times at Halloween. It's a cross between summer and Halloween for me. Summer because of the extended hours and nice weather (most of the time!) and Halloween because of the amazing theming - Halloweenland is incredible and the fun factor goes up to 11 during that season. While we liked the Christmas season we found it just that bit too cold.

It has to be anytime when its warm and sunny. We were there mid December and the cold almost ruined the experience for us all. It was -2 deg

Ooh, that's a hard one. We went for Christmas one year and while it was very beautiful and very magical, it did get very crowded with everyone trying to warm up in the shops! :crowded:

Our most recent trip was Halloween which was great fun :yay: but I think my favourite time (which probably seems mad to most people ;) ) is August as I love the long summer evenings with fireworks to end the day off ~ and also find the school holidays unbearably long if we don't go away for a break!! :rotfl2:

we are going Aug 8th for 3 nights

what in your experience are the queues etc like ?!!

am looking forward to it but not the loooooong queues !

Well, I hate queueing :rotfl2: so we just get there early and use fastpass. I find it manageable, I think the longest I've ever queued in August was 40 to 50 minutes for Big Thunder Mountain but that was because the ride broke down and as it was a very hot day and very cool in the queueing area we decided to stay put.
