What's your favorite treat at DLR?

Just back and as it was out 1st time to Disneyland we wanted to try:

1. Bengal BBQ
2. Funnel Cake
3. Corn Dogs
4. Dole Whip
5. Beignets
6. Tigger tails
7. toffee apple

All we managed out of ALL that were Funnel Cake, toffee apple, Churro & corn dog!!!

My fave was Churro!!!

We are going to DL for the first time on October 24th. Tigger Tails sound intriguing - can anyone tell me what they are, where you get them from and how much?

It's a marshmallow on a stick coated with caramel and orange and brown chocolate to look like Tigger's tail. You can find it at the Pooh Corner Shop in Critter Country next to the Winnie the Pooh ride for something like $3.75. Normally, I don't eat things like this, but it's a must have treat at Disneyland! :goodvibes

You can also get the Tigger Tail in Marcelline's in DTD and I think in the candy shop on Main St.

My favorites are:

Jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzel
Popcorn (so common, but sooo good!)
Chocolate dipped rice krispie treat
corn dog

I love the jumbo corn dogs, too!

What's the spicy corn dog?

Pretty much what it sounds like. :goodvibes It's a spicy link corn dog (so corn dog with a kick!). Quite tasty. I don't know if they have them at Disneyland or not. I've only ever gotten them at the corn dog castle at DCA.

I didn't think you could get these any where but Pooh's Corner, I've only ever seen them there, glad they have starting putting them other places too. I noticed when I was there last they had the cocnut macaroons at the bakery in DCA too. I had only ever seen those at the BRB on Main St.

My faves
coconut macaroon

Of course there's more, but these are a few wants when I am there (if they are in season).

Hiiiiii Karen!!!

I just saw you guys are coming out! If you have time, I'd love to meet up with you & Robert. :)

Okay, favorite snacks:

Corn dog from the red wagon on Main Street. I'll sometimes go to Disneyland for a corn-dog dinner.

Sweets to take home: freshly made at Disneyland English toffee or peanut brittle - it is sooo good!

PM sent :thumbsup2

I just saw this post recently...sometimes the Dis tells me there are replies to a thread and sometimes it doesn't :sad2: Haven't figured out the rhyme or reason to it yet :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

cheers,
:flower3:

There are a million DLR snacks I love, many of which have already been mentioned (tigger tails, mickey ice cream bars and gingerbread mickeys to name a few).

But, no one else has mentioned Tigger Butter fudge (only at the winnie the pooh candy shop) which is peanut butter and chocolate swirled together and is absolutely devine. And for something savory, but still sweet, a chicken skewer from Bengal BBQ.

I have never seen the Tigger tails candies at anywhere other than Poohs. I was just there in Oct, and the line was wrapped, and out the door. They are they only place for Tiiger orange tails. I know you can get the reg version which is like tiggers but just marshmellows, caramel, dipped iun shocolate, but not like the Tigger.

Ok, so I'm a little late for this thread, but am hopeful I'll get a reply :goodvibes

What are the trio of new orleans fritters from Royal Street Veranda? Are they any good?

I notice you're an infrequent/new poster...

:welcome: DizFrek :welcome:

Never to late to the party - especially when it relates to food on these boards :rotfl2: or maybe it's just food and me :rolleyes1 :lmao:

ToF are :cloud9: - my FAVE treat!! They are little fritters (like profiterole sized) served with different dipping sauces that are thick: custard-like). Unfortunately, my words are not doing this treat justice! If you like sweet (but not Tigger Tail sweet), and cream puff-like shells, you will enjoy these!

Have a fab visit! :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:

wow if i knew there already was a thread on favorite food at dlr i would not of posted one also.. lol :)

i guess my thing is , churros

I am convinced that churros at Disneyland taste different than churros in the outside world. Maybe they mix pixie dust into the cinnamon and sugar...

Agreed, I love the Churros

Second place: buying a loaf of bread (sliced) at Boudin Bakery at California Adventure and munching on it throughout the day. It's only like $4.99 and you can also get as much butter as you want to go with it. Yum!!!

Yummy...the picture of the Mickey Ice Cream Bar just made me salivate...Must..Have....ONe!!!!!:rotfl: and also..Tigger Tail Fudge and might as well throw in the Chocolate covered shortbread cookies..I buy a box every visit..they never make it home!!

#1- Dole Whip
#2- Honey Pot Caramel Apple
#3- Tigger Tail
#4- Marceline's fudge- pumpkin
