Hi,
We had to move our reservations back a week so now instead of being at the Taste of Chicago on the 4th of July we'll be at Saratoga Springs!:p
I don't think we should try to go to a park, won't they be over crowded?
Maybe if we were at the BCVs or BWVs where you can get in and out easily from either Epcot or MGM, but staying at SSR and having to deal with the crowds AND busses might
be too much...
What have you all done over the 4th? It seems like it could be a lot of fun!
Thanks!

I would think if you are staying at SSR you might be able to get a nice view of the fireworks at Pleasure Island. :bounce:

We went to the MK on the 4th last year - and honestly it wasn't too bad. We got there early - stayed until about 2:00 when it got way too crowded - then came back in the evening for dinner at the castle and watched the fireworks from right outside the gate, and were on the first bus out after that back to the resort. If you use fastpass wisely - it shouldn't be bad. The fireworks were great and it was just a fun atmosphere that day. I was really worried about it - the heat wasn't too fun - but I'd do it again. Have a geat time!

AS to your question - we went to HH one year for the 4th and it was a blast. There were activities all day long - a big party in the pool before the fireworks - and one of the best viewing spots for the FW was staying in the pool (and avoiding the bugs out on the pier)...

We went to MGM till about 1 -- not crowded at all. Hung out at SAB in the afternoon, went to Narcossees for dinner, watched MK fireworks from Narcoossees, drove back to BC and walked down to the International Gateway and saw Illuminations and 4th fw from there. It was a perfect day.
