What's your favorite thing to do in Key West???

I will post this again to help those that find themselves in Key West and want to do everything in a day - the trolley is nice in the fact you can get off and on when you like, BUT it does not give you the full history of Key West as the conch train - I being a conch still take the conch train every chance I get - I love to rehear the history of it --those wanting to rent a bike, moped or another source of transportation - go to Moped Hospital at the corner of Truman and simonton Street and ask for Norm's son Charlie - he will be very fair with each of you - if you want to do any type of water sports - call Shelly at Key Cat and just tell her I told you to call her and she will give you a great discount regardless what the water sport you are interested in - she has it all - if you are interested in jewelry --go see Vinny at Touch of Gold there at Mallory Square - the reason i can recommend these folks as I know them to be honest, honorable and true to their words - they will be fair beyond words.
If I can help - just write me at snelsonbrown@aol.com

I just got back from a Disney Cruise and a stop at Key West. I would not recoment the conch train historical something or other ride. There is no leg room, and maybe it was just my tour guide, but it was REALLY boring, not to mention it was unbearably hot. I was travling with 11 people ages 4 to 70s and none of us had a good time! After the first stop only about 10 people got back on the train. It was that bad!

Hi!
I was wondering if any of you could elaborate on the jet-ski tours// It sounds like a lot of fun!! Do you have a phone # for them? I searched on-line to no avail. Also, where do you go? What do you see? etc...
Thanks!!!

the tour goes completely around the island of key west. they make several stops - southernmost point, boca chica, abondoned submarine bunkers and a few other places. the guides (there are 3) help spread you out so you can open it up and have a great time. at each stop you can get off the jet ski and swim around in the water while the guides tell you about the stop, etc. i am definitely doing this again next time i am in key west. i highly recommend it. also, the jet skis can hold 2 adults if you don't feel comfortable driving by yourself. they are pretty powerful!
