what's your favorite thing at MGM?

We'll be at MGM on Sunday with our 5 yr old for his birthday and I'm not too familiar w/ that park so what are the musts for the day?????

Muppets 3-D, my 5yr old's favorite, oh and getting her picture taken w/ any of the Toy Story Characters!

I think 5 year olds also enjoy the Backlot Tour and the Honey, I shrunk the kids playscape. You also have to stay for the Fantasmic fireworks show.

My screen name says it all....

Whenever we go, my DD and I will ride it a minimum of 7 times. When she was 5, we set a family record of riding it 9 times that trip.

DD's favorite ride is ToT and she insists that we ride it a minimum of 5 times per trip. And she's only 7 years old!

Some of it will depend a bit on your son and whether or not he is reluctant to experience some of the more intense attractions. Also check on height restrictions. If he is unfazed by loud noises, I would add the Indy Jones show to your list. Be careful about Fantasmic if he is on the less adventurous side. DW took DD 4 last year and she was pretty scared by the show (had to cover her eyes during a few of the parts).

Save a good amount of time for the Honey I shrunk the kids playscape. That's a favorite for kids. The Muppet 3D is good too.

A "must see" is Fantasmic. Bring along your own snacks and juice. I packed a glow stick for my son and gave it to him to play with prior to the show.
