Recently I was going through all my photos from Shutters to frame them and make a nice little collage on my bedroom wall. Seeing all the various options and poses made me muse about which ones were my favorites. I had to select the pose on Castaway Cay with the ship in the background as #1 and the embarkation photo as #2.
What about the rest of you? Which is YOUR favorite?

I do have to admit that I also have a special place in my heart for the "hoving" photo (the formal shot where you stand behind a "railing" with the sea in the background...since you are behind it, you would have to be hovering over the water).

Since we have only been on one cruise so far, we don't have a whole lot to choose from, but my top three favorites are:

1)DD "close up" during dinner.

2)Our group photo on Tropical night.

3)our group embarkation photo.

All the ones I purchased, LOL!

I have one of me and DH at AP, one of the whole clan on the top deck at Sail Away, a formal (sort of) of DH and me under the moon and one of my two children there also.

I cannot even pick one, LOL!

:teeth: My brother and sister in law have the "hovering" photo... I pointed that out recently when I was at their house and we all were in pain from the laughing... I guess they never noticed it before...:p

My favorites are the kids with the characters! Both on the boat and at CC! Goofy is a particular favorite at our house!

I just added DD close up photo as my new avatar. This was taken by one of the ship's photographers during semi-formal night at dinner.

My favorite shutters pose is with Captain Mickey! Got it on I think our first cruise. Also have a really nice one with the ship in the the background (on a backdrop).

Thanks, he is a cute little guy.... cute name BTW, very cute!! :wave2:

My favorite would be with the Mickey and Goofy clouds and the palm trees. Going back a couple of years - don't know if they offer this option any more.

with Minnie Mouse in the terminal right before boarding the ship!
I can still remember how excited I was standing out there, waiting to board!!!

Andy,
Your daughter is beautiful!

Andy-

That is a gorgeous photo of Angelina!:D

I wish we had a better photo experience on board. Our embarkation photo had a guy walking by in the background. His face ended up right in between me and DH, ruining an otherwise great picture.

Our portraits all came out horrible. The one we ended up purchasing, DH is looking down at DS, so it looks like his eyes are closed.

We couldn't get the kids to look at the camera on CC, and DD started crying.:scared:

We never once saw a photographer, other than these portrait opportunities.:scratchin

Oh well. I guess we'll just have to go on another cruise and try again!

:teeth:

They lost our embarktion picture! Never went back to see if there were any others.

So hopefully this January they do a better job! It's rare that DD and I are both in a picture together! Especially this time she will be in the DREADED FORMAL WEAR! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

Angelina is the apple of her daddy's eye, that's for sure!!!

I also have a major league baseball bat sitting next to my front door!!! LOL!!!

My favorite Shutters pose is Embarkation Photo. I always look back and imagine what I was thinking and feeling at the moment that photo was snapped.

I like the ones on Castaway Cay with the ship in the background. Or anything with me and Pluto, or my husband with Mickey.

We only bought two of the Shutters poses. We have the whole famdamliy posed in front of Sou'wester Mickey on Formal Night, then just our core family posed in front of the plain mottled backdrop on Semi-Formal night. We got the binder with the ship for the formal portrait, but don't really know what to do with that, not as though you can buy a frame to hold the leather binder and pictures, but it is nice to pull it out and remember. The other is framed and it is a nice family portrait without being overtly "Disney".

I have so many that I love for different reasons but I do have to admit there is one that has a VERY special place in my heart.

On our 2000 cruise DS was 12 going on 13 at the time and we'd had some long spells where he was really an ornery bear. During the entire trip that wonderful, happy person I knew still had to be hiding in there somewhere re-emerged. After leaving the ship at CC we stopped in the post office to mail the obligatory postcards.

As we came out Capt. Hook and Mr. Smee "kidnapped" him and the photographer caught them doing this. My son is grinning from ear to ear!

That one has a page of its own in the scrapbook for that trip! I've been known to go back and look at it from time to time as he has continued the teen age journey  that no matter how grumpy he gets at times that happy kid is still in there.

Then there is the shot from this past June's cruise of me and DD in formalwear with Goofy in his. And Andy her daddy has a baseball bat handy too. Although he keeps threatening to do the gun cleaning routine when boys come to pick her up!

our first cruise this Aug we took as an Annv. cruise, no kids, our favorite out of all the pics was the one when we wandered upon Pluto on Deck 4 between the elevators overlooking the lobby. There is nothing special about it, it is that we are just very casual, like us. Not dressed up just hangin out. I am even barefoot in the picture. It is just ...us. That is our fav. Plus we really like the one we took with the Captain. We like it because that camera was postioned just right to get the photo of Walt Disney next to us from the Theater. IUt is a very nice place to have pics. They should offer formal pics by the wall on Deck 4 just as you walk past the shops towards thwe theater. Very nice.
