What's your favorite place to eat lunch?

Less then one day for us  and we'll be able to have some gumbo and pomme frites at Cafe Orleans and Meat Skewers at Bengal BBQ.

Carnation Cafe is supper yummy! (and the only place that keeps my kids quite for more than 15 minutes)!

I really enjoy the kid's pasta at Plaza Inn. For me, it's the perfect portion and comes with yummy breadsticks and sides :)

But last time I went, we didn't do much planning/research, so I'm excited to hunt for all these delicious soundinng food!

At DL- Cafe Orleans, Carnation Cafe
At DCA- Boardwalk Pizza, Paradise Garden Grill. The Cove- for great drinks and the Lobster Nachos are great
In DTD- Catal and Jazz Kitchen (Amazing Bread Pudding and Beignets)
DLR Hotels- Storyteller's Cafe

Definitely Carnation Cafe or Cafe Orleans, depending on what time of atmosphere we're in the mood for.

Then again, I usually make PS's for my meals, especially those two places, so the atmosphere I'm in the mood for that day doesn't usually get accounted for since the plans are already made!

For years we found that the food quality and portion sizes were superior in DCA. The new Hungry Bear menu in DL made us reconsider. :) Wonderful! I loved the fried green tomato sandwich and my baby and I adored the slaw.

We like Boudin over on the wharf for bread bowls on a cold day or salad on a warm one. DH still swears by Taste Pilot's ribs as the best counter service of all time in both parks. He is quite firm on this point and would want me to mention in. :rotfl:

And corn dog castle. Hotlink corn dog.

DH and I really liked the Lobster Nachos at Cove Bar. I'll include the picture for roseinwinter -

WOW! These look ridiculously good!

How much do these cost?

Those lobster nachos look freaking amazing!!! thanks for sharing!
I love the big thunder bbq :) mmmmm ribs, chicken, beans, slaw and corn bread.... yummmmm

For table service, it's a tie between Cafe' Orleans & Carnation Cafe'. Although if I'm getting a Monte Cristo, I prefer to get one from Blue Bayou, even though it's the same exact sandwich as at Cafe' Orleans because then it comes with a bowl of gumbo (to help balance out all that sweet with spicy)...plus, I love dining in the PotC ride.

For counter service, my new favorite is the Hungry Bear...love the fried green tomato sandwich. The chiliburger & the salad looked good, as well.

One favorite? Can't pick! But, I don't ever miss:
--Pomme Frittes &/Or Monte Carlo at Cafe Orleans
--Corn Dog from the cart
--Broccoli Cheddar Soup in a bread bowl at Pacific Wharf
--Bear Country Fried Tomato Sandwich

YUM! YUM!:lovestruck:

My faves at Disneyland are Gumbo and Pommes frittes at Cafe Orleans

it ties with Baked potato soup at the Carnation Cafe.

At DCA if fully loaded fries Taste Pilots grill.

Where in DCA is the Cove Bar? The same building as Ariels Grotto? Thanks!
