I love any kind of reviews...dining, resorts, excursions, etc. I also like hearing the news although with Twitter and Facebook it seems like I've already heard of most of it by the time the podcast is released. My least favorite part is probably the interviews. Also, since I recently visited Disneyland I wanted to add that I really enjoyed having the Disneyland Update shows. It was because of the show that I requested to stay in the Dreams tower at the Disneyland Hotel and it was perfect!!

I really like Housekeeping, News and Rapid Fire. I love the reviews too, but I like when the team all interact, so I like everyone's thoughts and reactions in the beginning of the show. I especially like when a piece of news or a rapid fire sparks a discussion. Same reason I really love the DISboards Discussion shows.

I really enjoy the interviews too. I thought Richard Sherman was especially fascinating. That one was my favorite.

My favorite part of the podcast is when the team just lets loose and chats.
I love their chemistry and I love hearing what they have to say about anything !!!

In a perfect world , I would love the team to do a pop culture podcast and a technology podcast in addition to the Disney podcast :cloud9:

Well... For whatever reason I love hearing and reading about reviews of restaurants.

That, combined with my obsession/love for all things Disney, and it was only a matter of time until I "stumbled upon" the Dis boards.

It was Kevin's first review of Coral Reef (and that infamous crab cake) that had me howling with laughter that brought me to this site in the first place, so I will always consider his restaurant reviews as my favorite part of any podcast.

But, I also love Pete's "rants", and housekeeping, and Corey and Julie's perspective on things...

I dunno. When the "whole gang" is together, (which seems increasingly rare these days) there's a certain chemistry between everyone that just "clicks".

That's a special thing: To hear so many people from different walks of life gathered together over their love of Disney.

As cliched as it sounds, that whole "I've laughed, I've cried, it's become a part of me" thing applies to the podcasts here.

It means a lot to me.

I definitely agree that there is something about the entire group chemistry when they're all together. They play off each other and I feel like I'm sitting in the same room with them. Pete's rants are definitely one of my favorite things. Sometimes I'll listen to a show twice just to hear it again because it's exactly what I'm thinking but something I would never say out loud. :)

I will say my favorite part is the resort reviews... But like just about everyone else I love the interaction of the team. I frequently will listen to older episodes when it was Pete, John, Kevin, Corey, Julie and Bob. Even though the content might be dated, the chemistry with the team is so enjoyable. That is why I became a loyal follower, and dedicated listener.

All of that being said... I can not wait until the team gets back from Disneyland Paris to hear their thoughts about their first trip there! Since moving to Europe I can't get enough info about DLP!

I have to say I do listen to other podcast :scared1:but the dis podcast is my favourite, not just trying to earn brownie points, my favourite part is the familiar voices, its the only podcast that when I listen to it, usually in the car, that I respond to what they are saying...and yes it looks like I am talking to myself. Its know the people and personalities, I have listened for years and like many of us miss the Bob moments.

The reviews and when the team just chats about their experiences in the parks.

Me too :)

There is just something really unique about their group chemistry.

When I'm out of new podcasts, I always go back to 2007-2008. I still love hearing Bob.

In recent podcasts, I enjoy DisBoards shows best. Or anytime Walter speaks up :thumbsup2

I love pretty much everything about the podcast, but my absolute favorite thing is Kevin's dining reviews. In second place would be Pete's resort reviews.

Love those!

First, I am very pleased with the decision to split the podcast posts into sections. This way, if I'm not interested in a particular review, I don't have to download that section of the show.

I really enjoy anytime in which members of the team talk about value. I particularly think that Kevin and John provide salient analysis in this regards. Here are two examples that come to mind.

1. John's recent analysis of secondary-market DVC points with regards to the changes to the benefits slated to take place March 21, 2011. This was excellent and informative.

2. In an episode sometime with the last 12 months (I discovered the show in the autumn of 2010 as a prelude to our Nov. 2010 trip, and pod-cast binged, so the episodes all blurred together) Kevin had a fantastic analysis of the quality and value of Disney dining, which was in relation to a discussion on the correlation of the quality of Disney dining to the popularity of the Disney Dining Plan. I always find Kevin's dining reviews excellent, because he always includes dollar cost value in the analysis. I find my considerations of dining out in symbiotic harmony with Kevin's reviews.

I really like the team dynamic. This really comes out when they each have to give their answer to an email question from a listener (i.e. if you could bring back one ride from the past, which would it be, etc....). I like getting the entire team's different perspective on many aspects of Disney.

I also love Kevin's dining reviews, Pete's resort reviews and of course Pete's rants! ;) I've been listening for almost 2yrs and I've never disagreed with a single rant! ;)

There's so many parts that I love. The top three:
  1. Pete's rants
  2. Kevin's restaurant reviews
  3. reviews of new tours or experiences

I can't say I have a favorite part...I love them all...but I really do like a good rant from Pete...I like that the Podcast is not sugar coated...whether or not I agree with them...I like the honesty that they share. I do enjoy the restaurant reviews and the resorts reviews as well.

At the risk of sounding like a geek....I really do look forward to Wednesday to hear the newest podcast....it gives me a little bit of a Disney fix for the week.
