What's your favorite movie you think most people haven't seen?

Well, that's a huge noggin! That's a virtual planetoid! Has its own weather system! Head! Move

Head! Paper! Now! Move that melon of yours and get the paper if you can! Haulin' that gargantuan cranium about! I'm not kidding, that boy's head's like Sputnik! Spherical, but quick pointy in parts

I'm feeling really sad and pathetic right now....as I have seen EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE MOVIES. :(

As for me, my favorite obscure movies....where do I start?

City Lights - An old Chaplin flick

Adaptation - Nick Cage movie written by Charlie Kauffman

Amelie - A french picture

Big Trouble is AWESOME!

The 12 Chairs - an old Mel Brooks movie...

The Emerald Fortune...lol..okay well this movie stunk...and none of you have seen it, because it was my student film...:teeth:

I've seen way to many movies...but what do you expect..I do have a film degree.....

Jungle Josh

The Colonel--with his wee-beady eyes, "Oh you want to eat my chicken, oh..."

Another vote for Shag!! I LOVE that movie. I have it on VHS but I only have a DVD player, so I can't watch it. :( And I've really been wanting to see it.

Frequency was good too.

Oh, and So, I married an axe murderer was pretty funny. :teeth:

I loved the movie BEING THERE with Peter Sellers and Shirley MacLaine. I first saw it in 1979 and thought "this is the best movie I have ever seen" but then I love comic genius of Peter Sellers.

Milagro Beanfield War!!
Directed by Robert Redford. Starred - Sonya Braga, Daniel Stern, and a lot of other people were in it: Melanie Griffith. Freddie Prinze etc.
Great movie!
I grew up in New Mexico and felt like I knew and loved every one of these people in my life.

I thought I was the only person who'd ever seen Milagro Beanfield War. It is wonderful and I didn't grown up in New Mexico.

Another favorite of mine is A Trip to Bountiful with Geraldine Page and John Heard.

"While You Were Sleeping" with Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman. No matter how many times I've seen it, I still cry at the ending.

I love that movie too! Although the part near the end with the 2 faced dancers freaks me OUT!

The Big Blue - I KNOW most haven't seen it. I absolutely love it.

Is that the one about the divers? That was pretty good.

As for obnoxious comedies- one of my favorites is Drop Dead Gorgeous.
"If they ask you to take your top off, get the money first."
I love mock-umentaries like this and Best in Show, SpinalTap.

I also loved Mediterraneo- not much play since it's Italian with subtitles but great story. Makes me really want to go to Greece and chill on a beach.

And Home for the Holidays!! (love the turkey "dripping" scene :teeth:)

DS has the Army of Darkness movies.

Some other favs:
Buckaroo Bonzai
Dark Crystal
Double Jeopardy

If you liked Back to the Future and Frequency, you should try Sliding Doors with Gwenyth Paltrow. It has the "one change changes your life" theme.

My oldie but goodie is Diner.

These are all awesome movies!!

Personally, I'm trying to get EVERYONE to go see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

One of the best I've seen all year.
