We are trying to decide which place to eat in August. What does everyone like to eat at each one? We will be going for dinner. Thanks!:goodvibes

DH and I always get the fried chicken at 50's, it is very good!

We tried Sci Fi last month and it was great! We had a cheeseburger, onion rings and a reuben and all of it was very yummy!

Cheeseburger, fries and shake at Sci-Fi. The burgers come with cheese, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and bacon if you want them. My DD & I split one with Swiss, onions and mushrooms and couldn''t finish it! Not your typical FF theme-park burger.

Their other sandwiches are good, too. I've had the reuben and loved it. Great theming, by the way, and it's what I think is the quietest restaurant in all of WDW!!! We love going there for lunch as a break from the crowds and noise of DHS.

We tried the pot roast at 50s -- it was ok, but nothing great.

I'm also going in August and am trying to decide between the two as well.

I have two girls 3 and 7 so I'm kind of leaning toward the 50's...Sci-Fi might not interest them.

Curious to see everyone's replies.

We always make it a point to have lunch at Sci Fi. Love it ! Now, having said that, we always have burgers, fries, onion rings and shakes. Nothing too adventurous, but the best burger meal in WDW in my opinion !

Kids love the Sci-Fi. You get to eat in a car, while sitting in a dark drive-in movie theater, watching funny trailers and clips of old sci-fi movies! It's so quiet in there because the kids are listening to the car speakers and not fussing!:rotfl:

Never did Sci-Fi, but my favorite meal at 50's PTC is the pot roast. Yummy.:goodvibes

Can anyone tell me how big the kid size burgers are at Sci-Fi?[/QUOTE]

Can't help you with the size of the kids burgers (neither of my boys (ages 10 and 6) like burgers ! :confused3) but the adult sizes are large ! DH and I just about rolled out the door after a burger, fries/onion rings (he had one, I had the other and we shared !) and a milkshake. We were so full after lunch, we asked the boys several hours later if they wanted supper and they both said no. We ended up not eating again until the next morning ! :rolleyes1
