We think we'll be headed over to Epcot for our first day and want to try something different for lunch. We always do Rose and Crown (sentimental reasons), but will be going there for dinner later in the trip. Also, since we live in TX, we'll be avoiding the San Angel Inn (we get plenty of great Mexican here).

What is your favorite lunch spot in Epcot and why?

Our favorite is Le Cellier, because, well, it's Le Cellier! :) It's our favorite restaurant, and we've never had a bad meal.

We've found that we can split a soup, split a sandwich, split dessert, and come out stuffed.

For us... 2 are at the top, Le Cellier and San Angel Inn... We have never had a bad meal at either place...

Another Le Cellier fan here!! Love the soup, pretzel bread and the atmosphere there!!! :cool1:

Not trying to hijack this thread...but what about favorite lunch Counter service at Epcot?

Anne

Our favorite lunch is the Cantina in Mexico (counter service). The food is good and the portions huge!

We really enjoyed Tangierine Café. The food was good plus there was a belly dancer. :D

Also the Nine Dragons is a must if you like Chinese food.

Good food, Japanese beer (Kirn ?) is tasty, and the beautiful gardens with koi fish are relaxing.

Thanks for the replies. I think I was leaning toward Le Cellier also...now I just have to convince my companions.

My favorite counter service is the fish stand in England. Love fish and chips! But I want to try the Tangerine Cafe.

Also, best place for a croissant and iced coffee...Fountain View Bakery in FW!

We love the Rose & Crown or the Biergarten for lunch. For counter service--we like the Cantina as well.

For a good counter service restaurant, try the food outside of the entrance to Beirgarten in Germany. Good Koulash? soup, soft pretzels, sausage and pork along with sauerkraut and beer.....hmm hmm good.....

For a sit down lunch you might see if Marrakesh is available. We really enjoyed their food and haven't found anything close to this near home. The belly dancing was fun too, and family friendly if you will have kids in your group.

Le Cellier! Hands down. It was one of the best meals we had anywhere in DW. And lunch is cheaper than dinner.

yakitori hut! - it is up behind most of Japan - nice garden and outdoor seating - sit in the hut when cold

For Counter Service - Tangerine Cafe is great - huge portions, easily sharable. Good variety on the menu too.

:cool1:

I like the Biergarten at Germany for lunch. I like German food and enjoy the German band.
