What's Your Favorite Line From A movie?

the entire "Blame Canada" song from South Park:Bigger Longer and Uncut is a hoot

The scene in TTT between Grimil and Legolas about body counts

Clint Eastwood saying, "A good man knows his limitations."

I think of this often. :)

Movie "French Kiss" with Meg Ryan & Kevin Kline

Kevin Kline, in his French accent......

"You people make my a$$ twitch"

********************************************

Movie "Lilo & Stitch"

Lilo, shaking her voodoo spoons in the pickle jar.....

"My friends need to be punished"

Cindy -- I'd forgotten that one, but didn't it go something like:
(Jeff Goldblum's character)
God creates dinosaurs
God destroys dinosaurs
God creates Man
Man creates dinosaur
(the female lead)
Dinosaur eats man
Woman inherits the earth

I LOVE that section! :teeth:

I also love "Oh good, my dog found the chainsaw"

And from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (as close as I can remember it):
German officer: Dr Jones?
(Both Jones in unison) What?
German officer: I will take zie book, now.
(Both Jones almost in unison) What book?
German officer (motioning to Indy): You have zie diary in your pocket.
Henry: You joked! You think my son would be that stupid? That he would bring the diary all the way back here? (To Indy) You didn't did you? You didn't bring it? You DID?
Indy: Well, I...
Henry: Why do you think I sent it to you in the first place? So it wouldn't fall into their hands!
Indy: Look, can we discuss this later?
Henry: I should have mailed it to the Marx brothers.
Indy: I came here to SAVE YOU!
Henry: Oh yeah, and who's going to save you, JUNIOR?
Indy: I TOLD YOU -- (snatches gun and kills guards) -- DON'T CALL ME JUNIOR!

Can I give a couple of lines from my favorite Broadway musical instead? Here are a few great lines from "Rent" (including the one on my sig line):

Forget regret or life is yours to miss.

Give into love or live in fear.

No day but today.

You'll never share real love until you love yourself.

"Badges, we don't need no stinking Badges!!" - Treasure of the Sierra Madre

"It's only a flesh wound" - Monty Python & the Holy Grail

"There is no try, There is only do" - "The Empire Strikes back"

I'm lovin' these posts, makes me want to go rent a bunch of movies. One more---from Ice Age--- Manny says to Sid "You're an embarassment to nature."

From my favorite movie, As Good As It Gets:
"Some people, that's their story- good times, noodle salad."

I could run through the whole thing, but I've learned that that is rarely appreciated :D

Also, see my sig- it cracks me up every time!

I have so many that I can't even recall them all right now but my one favorite is from "Double Jeopardy" with Tommy Lee Jones and Ashley Judd when she sees her husband and says "Hello Nick" ~ my ex-husband always calls that the "Hello Nick Movie"

And then in the Fugitive when Tommy Lee Jones shows up and takes over and wants a search of every "....hen house, out house..."

Ya think there's a Tommy Lee Jones thing going on here ? :p

I LOVE Tommy Lee!! I remember one more from the Fugitive, when Harrison Ford was cornered by him and screamed "I didn't kill my wife!" to which TLJ says "I don't CARE!" I loved that!

" Put The Candle Back ! " Teri Garr says to Gene Wilder in
Young Frankenstein.

and I have always loved....

" You're gonna need a bigger boat" from Jaws.

We have a date with destiny and it looks like she ordered the lobster: William H Macy in Mystery Men

I think I'm gonna barf: Frances McDormand in Fargo

I have two favorites:

B]"We're grownups now, so piss off!"[/B] From Drop Dead Fred

"I can do anything. I'm the chief of police." From Jaws. I love the way Roy Schieder delivers that line. I use it on my kids all the time!

When Harry Met Sally: "I'll have what's she's having."

Jurassic Park - Jeff G. (not an exact quote) "First comes the ohhh's and ahhh's, then comes the screaming and yelling". (Apologies to the writer!)

Young Frankenstein - "Abby. Yes, Abby. Abby Normal" Igor to Dr. Frankenstein
