With all the holidays quickly approaching, just curious what's everyones favorite holiday? I love Chirstmas. All the decorating and festivities, it's fun! I like New Years Eve too! I've also noticed more and more people are going all out for Halloween.

Halloween is the BEST !!!
The costumes, the kids and the candy :goodvibes

Last year we had 125 kids come to our house for trick or treat because we have a complete LGB (like in epcot germany) Train that goes around the whole outside of the house... The kids LOVE it and we love having them !!!!

I love Christmas more than any other holiday, or any other time of the year. It's just such a good feeling, and I love to bake cookies, see all the decorated houses with pretty lights...everything's so lovely. :goodvibes

And of course since I'm a Christian, it's also a very joyous, reverant and introspective time, too. :)

I said Christmas, but really, whatever Holiday gets me a day off work, I like that one! :teeth:

Christmas -- my all time favorite followed by Halloween and Easter.

Mary & the 2Poodles

I voted for Easter, but my true favorite is Memorial Day. I like Easter because of the religious meaning, spring season, and you get to be with family, but without all the materialism of Christmas.

Memorial Day is my favorite because my oldest was born on that day (shhh... don't tell the other two). I love celebrating her birthday of the holiday weekend and getting ready for the start of summer.

4th of July. There's no work involved. The winter holidays have wayyy too many emotions and too much stress attached to them.

Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love trimming the tree, decorating, Xmas music, egg nog, wrapping the presents, etc....

Christmas is my favorite--I love buying gifts, wrapping, eating yummy food, and the family all together. Plus, I get at least a week off work--sometimes close to 2 weeks depending on when the holiday falls.

My favorite is Thanskgiving and Christmas - I just love the holiday season; its such a happy month; the snow is still new and you're not sick of it yet and everyone seems to be in a happy mood;

DH's favorite is the 4th of July. He said something last August that kinda makes sense. You know how summer's pretty much "over" at the 4th of July; he said that "he wishes the the Founding Fathers had signed the Declaration of Independence on August 4th; so we would have more summer". I of course laughed at him.

Then just yesterday, I told him "you know how you wish you could move the 4th of July back a month? Well that's the same way I feel about Christmas - I would love it to be at the end of Jan (no disrepect to the Baby Jesus of course)just to keep that "feeling" a little bit longer.

I voted Christmas -
but REALLy it s the DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING
cuz me and 10 or so girls (including, sisters, mil, etc) go SHOPPING at the crack of dawn (my favorite hobby) and then go eat and have MARGARITAS!
its always a great - no stress day!

Christmas is and always will be my favorite! I also love Thanksgiving, although our anniversary tends to fall on that day often or pretty close to it (this year it falls on the Sunday after Thanksgiving). I also am looking forward to Halloween starting next year when Dd is a little bit older and can enjoy it more. I have never celebrated Halloween before (wasn't allowed to growing up) and I can't wait to share that holiday with my kids. I think it's a fun day. Dh and I also had our 1st date on Halloween.

Thanksgiving! I love waking up and getting the Turkey started - I make cinnamon rolls for breakfast and bake pies the night before so the whole house smells like heaven. Then I kick back and watch the Macy's day parade and welcome in the Holiday season when I see Santa. It is the one holiday where I make people come to me instead of running around everywhere.

Also the day after Thanksgiving is the official home decorating holiday. That is the day DH puts the Christmas lights on the house and we put up the tree.
