Tell me what your favorite, most often overlooked resort restaurant is. The secret places you feel that don't get as much attention as they deserve!

First thing that comes to mind was the breakfast we had at Olivia's. It's the only time we ever ate there, but it was so good, AND it was reasonably priced. :)

And speaking of b'fast, Trails End at Fort Wilderness is a great deal too.

I think Spoodles at the BWR is fantastic!

I was there with a friend in March, and we just ordered a bunch of appetizers, and they were excellent! Only thing I wasn't crazy about is that it was very rushed.

Olivia's at Old Key West! We tried it for the first time our last trip and loved it. There are pictures in labeled frames all around the restaurant of people who send them their photos, which was fun to look at while we waited for our table and food once we sat down. The service was good and the food was great as well!

Except for Artist Point which is a "biggy" the hidden gems are our favorite restuarants

Olivia's any meal

Grand Floridian Cafe any meal, but we especially like dinner

The Plaza always good for an excellent sandwich, when you're sick of all the high fat "weird" food, go here, breath of fresh air!!!

This one does get some advertisement around here, but not allot, but we also like Wolfgang Puck Cafe.

Also Yacht Club Galley, very nice breakfast buffet, nice atmosphere and excellent service. Can also order off the menu.

Trying the Turf Club in October, can't wait. We love the "hidden gems". We've tried ALL the headliners and and the only one we return to is Artist Point.

We'll be trying the Grand Floridian Cafe for the first time next week! Don't see much said about this place, so we think it might be a "hidden gem".

The Yacht Club Galley for breakfast or lunch.

I think Spoodles has gained in popularity, and rightly so.

Here's another Olivia's vote! And while we haven't tried the Turf Club yet, just peeking in there and chatting with the hostess has put that on my to-do list.

But, my very favorite sandwich in all of WDW is at the Grand Floridian Cafe:

The Grand Sandwich - open-faced hot turkey and ham, bacon and tomato, with a rich Boursin cheese sauce and French onion straws $11.99

Lip-smacking good option for lunch if you're in the MK, 'cause its an easy monorail ride away. I've never had to worry with ADRs, either.

I think the Turf Club at SSR deserves notice, great chefs .

I agree! I ate there a couple of weeks ago after someone here on the DIS said it was the best meal of their trip. I'm so glad I did. I ordered blackberry lemonade, calamari, steak with the crab topping, and hot apple pie with ice cream. It was all included on the DDP and was one of the best meals of my trip.

I'd have to say Olivia's as well. We are DVC members with OKW as our "home" resort, but never ate at Olivia's prior to this last trip in April. We had breakfast one morning, then dinner the last night. Both were fantastic and everyone agreed we'd definitely be returning. The crab cakes were awesome!

Hi. This one may not count, but I think Gullivers at the Swan is great. When I last ate there in May, the food was excellent...they had this salmon with some kind of creamy shrimp sauce and corn relish that was sooo good. The desserts are fantastic too, especially the cheesecake. Plus they have characters, Goofy and Pluto or Rafiki and Timon, depending on the day. And the service was outstanding. I'd go again anytime.

It's not at a resort, but the Plaza Restaurant is an often over-looked option. I ate there in May. It was very delightful and my server was excellent!

My husband and I love Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club. They have the best hamburgers and fresh fruit. Try to go around 1:30 or 2 after the lunch rush. Tends to be very crowed.
