In the past, we haven't done many counter service places for lunch, but will this Dec. I've been to Pinnochio's at MK and thought the deli sandwiches were quite good. Flame Tree at AK was also a nice change of pace (with the BBQ and corn on the cob).

Post your favorite place (and menu item).

I love the rotisserie chicken at Tusker House in AK. I'm not sure how healthy the mashed potatoes that come with it are but they are good too :cool1:

I think Tusker House is the best choice for a healthy CS, but Flame Tree is also relatively healthy, and my personal fave!

the salmon + rice at tusker house

I think the half sandwich + soup at columbia harbour house is also rather on the healthy side (it is, if you compare it to hamburgers and fries! ;) )

My favorite is the soup and sandwich combo at Columbia Harbour House. I get the lighthouse sandwich (hummus with tomato & broccoli slaw) with vegetarian chili.

I also really like Sunshine Seasons (I get either the roasted beets and goat cheese salad or the grilled vegetable cuban sandwich, and fruit) and Tangerine Cafe (I get the vegetarian platter there).

Any suggestions for MGM?

we are going to try the Backlot Express- the menu dont look too bad- everyone has warned me to stay away from ABC!

and the TANGIERINE CAFE looks really good in Morocco!

....and Wolfgang Puck Express @ Downtown Disney looks like they have a tasty menu!

Another vote for the salmon at Tusker House. I likethe fact that it is served cooked, not on the rare side like so many places. My DD actually ate some of it because it didn't look "raw".

My votes are for Flame Tree at AK and Earl of Sandwich at DTD!!!

The tuna on whole grain bread at CHH is also quite good!

Lots of choices -- not fast food type food. We really liked it. My daughter and I had the chicken caesar salad -- others had rotissere chicken and I think my husband had a stir fry something.

The best part, though -- the dessert selection! I had a tulip tart that was heavenly -- not healthy, but heavenly!

I like the hummus sandwich at CHH, and the vegetable wraps at Cosmic Ray's and Tusker House (they are not the same at each place). The wraps are big enough to share (1/2 the calories).

I love the grilled chicken salad wrap from peco bills, the caesar salad from the old land where soarin is (cannot think of the name), the rotisserie chicken fron Tangerine Cafe and in MGM and AK we always snack on a fresh fruit cup....very refreshing

Tangerine Cafe. I just get a side order of lentil salad and a side order of couscous. :)
