What game do you find yourself playing, right along with your kids? At the same time, or separately, or with one person playing and other people watching... What games appeal to the whole family (or a good chunk of it, anyway?)?
Any gaming platform, any game system, even PC or internet games.
Here's our current favorites:
Minecraft! If you haven't checked this PC game out yet, it's definitely worth a look. It's like Lego on steroids, with optional zombies, and it's PC Gamer UK's Game of the Year.

My 13yo son is now spending massive amounts of time browsing architectural blueprints, and talking about possibly becoming a civil engineer when he grows up, thanks to this game. He likes to play on multiplayer servers with his friends, building co-operatively. Me, I just like building houses, in my own private little corner of the Minecraft universe.
And then there's all the games we play together on the XBox 360, in our livingroom. These include Yahtzee, Monopoly, Carcasonne (awesome strategy game in which you build medieval towns one tile at a time), Sliders, Scrabble, and more. If we skip a "family game night", my 13 and 14yos get very upset.
