What's Your Favorite Fall/Winter Holiday Tradition?

Making kolacky with my dad and brother or now, just my kids. Thinking about this is making me tear up, I just realized that I'll probably never have a Thanksgiving again with both my dad and younger brother around. Dad is getting too old and my brother doesn't do holidays with our side anymore.....

We go all out on cookies, and especially the cutout sugar cookies that we decorate with colored frosting and sprinkles. Those alone are a whole weekend production.

We 'adopt' a rescue turkey at Thanksgiving rather than eat one (just means a donation to an animal sanctuary in support of their work).
