I'm in the minority here but I don't care for Animator's on the Dream or Fantasy. It is too loud and the I feel the last night with the drawing is way over rated. Your picture is only on the screen for a few seconds and they rush you through the meal so you have time for it
Exactly! Animator's is a fun and beautiful restaurant, but it's just too much on the fantasy & dream. Every time a new picture lights up, it's cool, but the whole room starts screaming about it. And then the last night, having to shorten my meal to hurry and get my drawing done, just is silly. I love cabanas for breakfast & lunch...gotta love that view! I really like Triton's and Royal Palace at dinner. Obviously, Palo is out of this world for food and the views. My family always finds something we love or new to try on any of the menus, so my dining preference is based solely on atmosphere.
Is the Animation Magic on the Fantasy always done on the 2nd rotation? We sailed the Fantasy back in 2012 but ate in Palo that 2nd time we were scheduled in AP. Our kids ate in AP with our friends and my parents and they all said we missed a good show.
So this time I chose night 3 for Palo. Whether it's a great show or annoying, we'd still like to see it to decide ourselves.
Thanks
Thanks!Unless the second night is Pirate Night, yes the second dinner in AP will be the animation show. So, if you go to Palo on one of the first three nights of the cruise when they have the rotational menus, you will not miss the animation show.
And I think it is definitely worth it to see it once. I belong to those who do not enjoy it, but as you said, everyone should make up their own minds!
I love to eat and am excited about the food on a cruise (my first cruise coming up), but I'm such a picky eater!! What if I hate everything? And end up eating simple meals. That will be a bummer! I can do that at home! I need a sampler plate to decide what I like. Lol
