What's your favorite crowd calendar?

I did a preliminary schedule for using the easywdw crowd calendar, and then decided to take a look at the underground tourist calendar out of curiosity. And it was very different for most of the days I was checking.

First note: I am not going until Jan 2018, so I was using 2016 calendars to plan. I know that things change, and will change in the parks, but some of these calendars are based on data from previous years.

Second note: Yes I know that this is VERY Early for planning anything other than where we will stay, but I get SO jealous of everyone else planning, so I had to do one! I expect to refine the plan I have now next summer, since that's when we will know park hours, ride closures, etc.

So which crowd calendar do you use, or think is the most accurate?

Where can I find actual crowd calendars, not predictions? I would like to see what Mardi Gras week actually looked like as far as attendance this year, not what they predicted it to be. Also, the weeks around it - trying to nail down my exact dates.

What you're looking for doesn't exist. Disney doesn't release attendance numbers.

I understand - I have gotten into the habit of booking way in advance and then enjoying the planning almost as much as the trip!

easywdw has been the best overall IMO. But Disney has been so neglectful lately in releasing information & updating park hours you can't even plan accurately now for a month out. We go in 3 weeks and they JUST updated MK park hours like yesterday or something and they still haven't done HS yet. Week before last they switched EMH's around between 2 parks for the first week in June. Let alone the idea of releasing opening dates for new attractions.

Beyond planning tentative trip dates and narrowing it down to a couple of resorts I wouldn't waste time trying to plan any details for a trip for 2018 this far out tho. The info. this far out is just too unreliable.

I am following along to see what calendar everyone prefers. I am watching to see if there are any others mentioned besides the main two. You may want to consider adding a poll to the quiz, easywdw, touringplans, other. I think you can still add a poll to your first post in this thread since you are the OP.

As for planning way ahead, I am with you on this one!:thumbsup2 I was last at WDW in 2014 and am have been planning my next trip ever since. I have been thinking about 2017 but now it most likely will not be until 2018. There is a thread, "Who's planning a 2017 or 2018 trip? that was started by someone else back in 2015. I was one of the first to join the thread and am the one who posts the most. I haven't seen any posts from the original poster but I am keeping the thread alive because I wanted to plan with others who do not get to go very often.

:cool1: This is me, most definitely! It is so much fun to plan. I am always planning a fantasy trip. And when I actually do get to reserve a room and officially plan a real trip I just go :dancer: crazy folks and do my Happy :dancer:all the time!

This question has been asked hundreds of times over the last few years. Fewer people answer each time, but easywdw.com is always the clear winner.

If you're interested, just Google " disboards.com: crowd calendars"

Yes, both the OP and I are aware that this question has been asked hundreds of times over the last few years. We are both interested in how the crowd calendars are matching actual experiences NOW since all the LATEST changes to the parks. So, the question is still relevant.

I am just wondering why you even clicked on this thread if the topic is something that you think is outdated.

I prefer touring plans, I checked out both of them and **************.net as well, all were helpful in my planning, but I found Touring plans to be very accurate.
