DH and I will be going on an adults only trip Oct 8-12th and since it is F&W, I'm figuring we will mostly need ADRs for breakfast. I know we will want to go to Kona - that's our fav, but usually we come with kids and do character breakfasts. Since we won't have kids, are there other non-character breakfasts that are yummy and worth the effort? Heck, if you love a character breakfast - let me know what that is too!

Thanks!

JZCubed - that is brilliant! Honestly, I wouldn't have thought of it. I don't think we have ever ordered room service in all our travels. (I did once with my sister at a teacher's convention because we were exhausted and in Erie, PA and didn't want to go back out, but that is another story!)

I really like Grand Floridian cafe for breakfast. I've always enjoyed my meal there and I find the setting relaxing.

I really enjoyed the Trail's End buffet breakfast at Fort Wilderness.

We really loved BOG when we went this summer. We ate breakfast there twice.

Marbel, I had forgotten about Trail's End Buffet - we ate there years ago with my DMIL - might check it out again! I would LOVE to try BOG for breakfast, but I'm betting I can't get an ADR this close!

Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge has a wonderful breakfast buffet, and also the Captains Grill restaurant at the Yacht Club side of Beach and Yacht club hotels has a great buffet, or you can order ala carte there too.

Be sure to try for a Be Our Guest reservation. I just booked breakfast for 10/17 and had lots of times to choose from - and we are a party of 6. Also, we really like 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. They have a good buffet with lots of variety, and Mary Poppins, Alice, and the Mad Hatter.

Kona Cafe has a mouthwatering breakfast.

I heard Cape May is delicious although we've never eaten there yet we always stay at the Beach Club. We're always on the go so don't do a lot of sit down breakfasts.

I was going to say Kona, but you've already got that. Boma is really good. I look forward to trying the GF Cafe on our next trip. It looks lovely.

Actually, as two adults I wouldn't think you would need ADRs except for the most difficult restaurants (Crystal Palace, CRT etc). I have really enjoyed Boma, and had a wonderful breakfast (buffet or not) at Captain's Grill. The service there was excellent! Also my sister and I ate at Grand Floridian cafe twice for breakfast, so lovely. It made us feel very special. The atmosphere before the large families arrive (or after) is quite wonderful! I second (third?) Trail's End, any excuse to go there, especially first thing in the morning, peaceful! You might have to cab it to some of these if you don't have a car.

The Wave has a great breakfast. Either from menu or go with the buffet. They also have sweet potato pancakes like Boatwright's used to serve!! We always go here on check-out day before we hit the road:dogdance:

Boma is a great breakfast buffet. It has some traditional foods, but many non-traditional, but very delicious options as well.

For me its the "Goofy breakfast" at Cape May cafe but that's purely for the character's. Its my family's tradition..........and the food is good.

But if this is about the food...and just the food, then TUSKER HOUSE is the breakfast we (my wife and I) like the most.............so many choices........best fruit at WDW. :)
