Was wondering what to order-please tell me about your must haves!

Hi Tinkamom! CG is mine and hubby's fave, I would be THRILLED to tell you what's good!! :)

Now granted the menu changes every couple of months, but a few things stay on there (or something similar).

Go to allearsnet.com and check out the menu for descriptions.

Here's what we enjoy:
The Quadruple Cheese flat-bread: YUM YUM YUM!!! :)
The Oak-fired beef filet: MMMMMMMM! So tender you don't need a knife! :)
For dessert (I'm copying and pasting this one): Chocolate Lava - Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake with molten center, Scotch caramel and white coffee ice cream
**This dessert has to be ordered when you place your meal order. Your server should tell you about it first thing. I thought I had died and gone to glory it was so good!!**

:)

The California Grill is mine and my hubby's WDW tradition. We eat there every time we go. If you have any questions you'd like me to answer, PM me anytime! :)

EVERYTHING!! I have never had anything bad there....the tuna is excellent but not always available. The filet is to die for! All the flat breads are delicious....the sushi is great......

The Filet is to die for!

Actually, everything we had was fantastic (just ate there 4/23) We all split a quadrupple cheese flatbread. My DS had Sushi sampler, which he loved. DH & My Friend had Roast Asparagus & I had Beets 2 Ways - very delish. We all ordered the Filet - everyone agreed they were perfect. We had ordered a Birthday Cake for dessert. My son brought a cheese plate back to the room which he said was superb (he's a 16 yo gourmand)

I love some of the same things as the other posters. The flatbreads are great, the filet is tasty and tender and the various beet salads I've had there....oh, yum!

Ah, the beet salads.. Berns got me into beet and goat cheese salads and the California Grill hasn't helped :)

We're eating here for the first time next week - I'll probably end up with the filet - sounds yummy! :) Does anyone know what cheeses are included in the quadruple cheese flatbread? Thanks! :)

The flatbreads are great and the sushi is the best I've had on WDW property.

Here's a picture of the filet. It was yummmmm!

I was a little worried about the "tamarind barbecue sauce" because I am not a very adventurous eater, but it just tasted like normal "au jus" sauce to me.

Thanks for posting that pic! :lovestruc I think I'll definitely be getting the filet now next Friday! :teeth:

Thanks for the info and the pics. DU have just got some PS for us in July I can hadly wait. We have eaten there before but a while since, this time we should be there to see the wishes fireworks.

Wow! I can't wait! A flat bread, filet with tamarid bbq sauce and warm chocolate cake while watching the fireworks. yum yum It should be a perfect way to end Mother's Day princess: princess: princess: princess:

This is our favorite WDW restaurant. The view and the food are wonderful. We enjoy the sushi, filet (better than Jiko's), and that chocolate lava cake with a designer ice cream flavor is fabulous!! princess: pirate: :earboy2:

A seat at the bar, a sour apple martini, smoked salmon flatbread and yoshie's deluxe sampler or some sashimi. It is a perfect evening.

I get sushi and a flatbread. More than enough there. Plus wine. No dessert.

We just ate there on 9/22 and, as always, it was spectacular. If you are an adult-only party, I HIGHLY recommend requesting a spot in the wine room. beautiful views and nicely separated from the fray in the main room

We LOVED: the Chef's Garden Flat Bread, the Sashimi Plate (the Tuna Three Ways is great as well), the Filet (spectacular cut and cooked to perfection), and the Pork Tenderloin (the best anywhere, imo)

Our friends had the roasted free range chicken and the pan roasted grouper, and they raved about both dishes.

Basically, you can't go wrong. ENJOY!
