Taco Pie

1 can crescent rolls
1lb hamburger cooked
1 packet Taco seasoning
8oz sour cream
1/2 jar of taco sauce
Shredded Colby Jack cheese
Tostitos Chips
9X13 inch pan

1st layer - Spread crescent rolls in the bottom of your pan.
2nd layer - Spread crushed Tostitos on top of crescent rolls
3rd layer - Combine hamburger, sour cream and taco seasoning packet and put on top of Tostitos
4th layer - Spread taco sauce over hamburger.
5th layer - Spread cheese over taco sauce

Right before cooking, glaze top with crushed Tostitos.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min or until cheese is melted.
Garnish with lettuce, tomatoes, taco sauce, Olives, Sour Cream.

My kids really like this:

Brown and season 1 package of ground beef. Add 1 can of spicy refried beans and about 1/3 can of water. Mix well

Serve on top of tostada shells (from old el paso) or in warmed soft tortillas. Top with grated cheese (i use kraft 4 cheese mexican) chopped tomatoes and lettuce, avacado, and sour cream

Mom's Meatloaf

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
2 large eggs -- slightly beaten
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/8 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
1/8 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
1 tablespoon plus 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon coasely cracked balck peppercorns -- or to taste
1/4 teaspoon coarse salt -- or to taste
1/4 cup ketchup
1 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

Preheat oven to 350º. Lightly oil 8 1/2 x 4 1/2" loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine beef, pork, eggs, bread crumbs, onion, bell peppers, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, peppercorns and salt just until well blended. Do not overmix.
Place in prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature taken with an instant-read thermometer is 155º.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir together the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard and remaining 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
Brush the meatloaf with the ketchup mixture and bake 10 minutes longer.
Remove meatloaf from oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
