Am looking for a good Margarita Recipe regular and different flavors like strawberry or mango

I don't have a recipe, but last summer I found Mango Margarita mix in the liquor store...just add ice and blend. It was yummy. I think it might have been Friday's, but I'm not sure.

I'm drinking one of my faves right now! It is a knock off of Chili's Presidente Margarita! Yum!

Margarita Presidente (www.topsecretrecipes.com)

1 1/4 ounces Sauza Conmemoritivo tequila anejo
1/2 ounce Cointreau liqueur
1/2 ounce Presidente brandy
4 ounces (1/2 cup) sweet & sour mix
splash Rose's lime juice

1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with crushed ice. Shake
2. Pour drink into a martini glass rimmed with salt. Add a lime wedge and serve with the remainder of the drink in the shaker on the side.

I make Green Apple Margarita's, but I don't know if they are technically margarita's since I don't make them with tequela. I use a shot of triple sec, a couple shots of Green Apple Pucker and some sweet and sour mix. You can either blend it or serve it on the rocks. I usually drink it on the rocks because it is one less thing in the kitchen to clean, lol. I have also substituted Raspberry Pucker and those are good, too.

My favorite Margarita's are the Applebee's Perfect Margarita's. I have to see if they have those on that top secret site!

Those Mango Margaritas are AWESOME. I polished off a bottle of that last weekend.

I also love the Peachtree Margaritas they have at The American Cafe. They are worth the trip alone.

Here are my To Die For Margaritas!!

2 Cups of Sweet and Sour Mix
4 oz of Grand Marnier
6 oz of Silver Patron Tequila
1 oz of El Presidente Brandy.

That's a good recipe. You can add "Cointreau" also.

Here's another unique Margarita recipe for you. My wife is drinking one as I'm writing this. Don't knock it until you try it. I had one last week and this recipe is very good. At first I said..."what?"....beer in a Margarita? LOL

It's called a "Beer Margarita"
-2 bottles of Corona 12 oz. each
-1/2 cup frozen concentrate limeade
-1/2 cup chilled Taquila (Jose Quervo or whatever you like)
-In a medium sized pitcher combine beer, limeade and Tequila
- That's it...just pour into a Margarita glass and add lime if you desire. Obviously it's an "on the rocks" type Margarita...not a frozen one.
Try it...I think you'll like it. :)

The local Mexican Restaurant here gave me their recipe and I can't find it right now as far as the measurements but it calls for
Sauza Margarita Mix
Orange Curraco
Triple Sec
Jose Cuervo Especial

I think the Orange Curraco is the magic ingredient. It's awesome

thanks for the recipes everyone!

there used to be a restaurant here called "the Silver Sppon" it was a chain owned by the same company as "Ruby Tuesdays" they made a Margarita that was Awesome out of Amaretto...I would love the recipe for that one if anyone knows it...

Cheers :drinking1

Mango margarita mix!!! Tell me where I can get this! Please!

I don't like mine too sweet. My recipe for a batch:

1.5 cups tequila (I like Cuervo or Sauza Gold)
1 c (combined) fresh squeezed lime juice & Rose's Lime Juice (I use less than 1/4 cup Rose's)
1/2 c Grand Marnier
1/2 c Triple Sec

Combine in pitcher and stir. Pour into salt-rimmed glasses filled with ice, stir to chill & dilute. Add lime wedge.

Here is my fav.... love that Cabo Wabo!!!

A Cabo Waborita will help cool you down at a Meltdown. But don't be fooled by the ease with which the delicious Waborita treat goes down - it will Fire you up for sure!
2 oz. Cabo Wabo Reposado Tequila,
2 oz Lime Juice, freshly squeezed
2 oz. Triple Sec,
splash Blue Curacao,

Combine all but the Blue Curacao in a shaker half-filled with ice. Shake well. Strain into salt rimmed martini glass. Pour the splash of Blue Curacao into the center of the glass.

I got it at a regular neighborhood liquor store. I can't remember if it was TGI Friday's brand or Jose Cuervo brand. Man, was it good!

I make pretty traditional margaritas most of the time..
1 1/2 oz Tequila
1/2 oz Triple Sec
1 oz Lime Juice
Ice

Shake, pour into an ice-filled, salt-rimmed glass with another wedge of lime.

I'm going to have to try some of these later today. Thanks for starting the thread OP.

I'm sort of a tequilla snob and only drink Cabo Wabo or Tres Generaciones (I think I spelled it right). For those of you who aren't "into" tequila, get the 100% agave tequila. There is a big difference in tast from the "golden" tequilas that are so popular. It's more expensive, but well worth it. It has a very smooth taste unlike some of the cheaper brands. If you're interested in learning more, here's a great site. http://www.ianchadwick.com/tequila/

Even though my buddies Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffet say "It's 5 o'clock somewhere" 6:30 AM on a Monday morning just won't cut it. :rotfl:
