What's your experience with changing dates less than 45 days out?

My mom is having health problems so we may have to postpone our August trip. It's a package less than 45 days out. If I change the dates to Dec/ Jan. do you think I will have to pay the $50 if I add on more nights making it a more expensive package? And if I just change the dates I won't have to pay the $100 cancellation fee? Thanks.

The cancellation fee is $200 (same as the deposit).

If you change your dates and the price goes up you shouldn't have to pay the change fee of $50. I'd do it as soon as you can to avoid any printing fees (within 14 days).

If you have air on there it's a whole other ball game :-/

If I move the dates will they just put all of my package money towards the new one or do they refund it minus the $200 deposit?

No worries about the air. We booked with SW points.

If you are just changing dates, everything will transfer when your reservation is modified :). The only time cancelling and rebooking is needed is when you go from one reservation type to the other.
