What's your Disney bucket list???

Because of all the new things I've learned on the DIS, I decided to create an official Disney bucket list (rather than the one I've been keeping in my head). As of now, I probably have over 30 things I want to do but I would like some ideas just in case I'm missing anything.

So can anyone share what is on your bucket list (or what was on your bucket list)? Or anything you've done that is a MUST do for any Disney lover?

Some categories I have with examples are:
  • Special events/tours: Keys to the Kingdom, Walk in Walt's Footsteps, Food & Wine, etc.
  • Eating & Drinking: Victoria & Albert's, Dessert Cruise at MK, etc.
  • Hotel Stays: Grand Californian, AKL Savanna view, Club level, etc.
  • Misc: Go to every Disney park, become an AP, etc.
These are just some of my 30 items for examples :)

Get an RV and camp at Ft Wilderness for a month and go to the parks whenever I want. Maybe not exactly what you were looking for but the rest doesn’t matter, I would be at Disney!!!!:tinker:

That's exactly what I want, things I wouldn't have thought of myself. Love this one! I'm not normally a camper (much to my BF's dismay) but I think I'd be alright if we were camping at my favorite place ;) Thanks for the idea, adding it!

I would have say being able to stay in the Cinderella's castle if only for a night! Not a lot of people can say they have done this.....

Second place would be a nice dinner at the Original Club 33.

Oh man, both of these are so high up on my list! I'd love to even just set foot in the Cinderella Suite, Dream Suite, and Club 33 locations.

  1. Stay at all WDW hotels once (9 done so far, but I have stayed at some of those more than once)
  2. Keys to the Kingdom tour
  3. 1/2 Marathon at WDW
Above are my current top 3. My previous #1 was to go to DL/CA with D23 Expo in the #5, but those are both booked for August.

Staying at all the WDW hotels seems ambitious but also awesome! The second two were on my list as well. I just need to train for a 1/2 first :teeth:

YES! I kick myself often for not visiting when I went to Paris in 2015. I guess that’s just another reason to return!

Stay at the new Star Wars Hotel and visit SW:GE
Have dinner at the new Space-themed Restaurant in Epcot

Nice! Are you planning on getting in on the SWGE craziness when it opens or will you wait it out?

I'll be at the DLR craziness when SWGE opens! My sister and I will be there 5/30-6/3. DH and I are planning our next WDW trip for Feb 2021.

Ah, exciting! You are far braver than I am to willingly venture into the madness. Our trip is coinciding with SWGE at WDW so we will see how that goes.

Mine is to visit every Disney Park worldwide. I truly believe I *will* do this, but probably not the ones in Asia until I retire. I think it would be cool to do like a monthlong trip hopping around Asia and visit Disney Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Shanghai while also seeing other sites. I have yet to share this crazy fantasy with the hubby though. :rainbow:

Top of my bucket list as well! It would be awesome to hit them all in one trip especially since Asia is such a long flight. My BF is obsessed with Japan so I’m definitely adding it to the itinerary when we visit (hopefully next year!)

Eat at Victoria and Alberts and also beaches and cream. I seriously didn’t even know it existed until joining the boards. I also learned about keys to the kingdom tour from here but that I crossed off my list in Dec!

Visiting the other Disney parks is now on my list, I never realized how different they all were. Not sure how many I’ll get to though, not sure I can stand the plane ride to the ones in Asia.

A bucket list item I've already done was staying at a Saratoga Springs Treehouse.

An ongoing goal is that on every trip I go to at least one restaurant that is new to me.

Eager to try the new Space 220 restaurant. Not sure when exactly it is expected to open.

The one that I'm still trying to do is ride the Lilly Belle at Disneyland. The last two times I tried it was booked. And I'd like to dine once at Club 33. That's pretty much it.

Stay at The Grand Floridian in a DVC 1 bedroom lake view Villa for a whole week.

That would be a dream. That would be an amazing honeymoon but my BF has already said NO to a Disney honeymoon :guilty:

KTTK is on my list as well! What did you think of it??? I was hoping to squeeze it into my trip this fall but wasn't logistically feasible, next time for sure though!

Tried talking my BF into V&A as a romantic dinner for this fall...he nearly choked when I told him the price.

We rode the boat next to the treehouses last time we stayed at POR, I never even knew they were there. How was it staying there??

Great idea to try new things. We don't go to WDW often enough so I usually get more than one new restaurant in per trip, there are SO many.

I believe Lilly Belle is part of the train tour! Those are both on my list as well. I would kill to be a Club 33 member but I'm still trying to talk my BF into DVC so I think that one's a harder pill to swallow (let alone the waiting list) ;)

You’re trying to talk your BF into DVC? I don’t think you can win that one. You’re asking him to commit to Disney almost every year. That’s asking a lot. I’m a every 2-3 year guy. I don’t know many folks who want to go every year.

You might have better luck renting points. I’m sure you can get him on board. It’s a nice way to try it out for less money.

Check out the Dis Unplugged video on who shouldn’t buy. I thought about buying until I saw it. I’m a casual tourist / last minute traveler, so it doesn’t work for me. Make sure it works for you. It’s a lot of money.

I’m definitely not talking my significant other into Club 33 membership. But I’d still like to dine there once.
