Whats your 'checklist' before you visit WDW?

So I've got 23 days left until I go! Got a brand new passport last month, esta has been approved so now I can start planning the disney side of it! I've just checked in online with the my disney experience thing which has got me super excited.

Going for three weeks, and I've heard it'll be hot and humid- should I be planning for rain/thunderstorms too? I'm from the UK and I've never been in September before. Also, anyone know what crowds are generally like in the first few weeks of September?

I've read lots of packing threads, so I think I'm good to go with that, but I'm interested to know if there is one thing you or a member of your family always takes which has proved really helpful? For me, it was zip lock bags. I took them to protect my phone and camera on wet rides but we ended up using them soooo much, for all sorts of things!

I always pack an emergency rain poncho and I put that in my day pack when I go to the parks. I have only needed it once in 5 visits.

I agree, zip lock bags are indispensable. I always bring a change of socks and footwear with me into the park. If I am wearing sneakers first, I may change into sandals later, or vice versa. Or sometimes a fresh pair of socks is all it takes for feet to feel refreshed again. Have to do so much walking.

64 days for us and preparing for WDW is easy... Be our 50th trip....

Room only booked....we're done, that's it....

No food ADR's.... no dining plan...

My stuff is list itemized laid put on spare bedroom....

Turn off water, turn down hot water tank, set timers, turn on alarm

And we're gone!!
