We have 200 points. We always seem to be borowing from the next year's use year. But, is this really a problem? I was thinking that this would avoid the risk of points expiring and who cares in 40 years anyway? What am I missing? If I always have enough points to travel by borrowing. Is this whole borrowing thing just a clever way for DVC to make me feel like I need to buy more points when I really don't? How do other habitual borrowerers out there feel? Thanks!
Without borrowing,
This year's trip used ALL our 2014 points from our Dec. Use Year. We transferred some points plus bought One Time Use Points. BUT............ we have a trip booked for December for the entire family of four generations, that hopefully we'll all be around to enjoy! I really don't think we'll be able to have ALL of us together too many more times, as my mother will be 89 in November, so I had NO qualms in doing this. However, we won't be able to go again til 2014/2015.
Unless of course, I find that elusive money tree and can buy more points between now and then.

It would really mess with my OCD to have 2012 points through the 2013 calendar! I would need a straight jacket!
