No offense dude but thats complete Bull%$#@. I've yet to see a law enacted (in this century or the last) that discriminates against gays. IF you want to say gays are discriminated, you may as well say everyone is. I have been discriminated against before, thats just part of life. But thats not saying that I or they don't have equal rights. No public law has taken away their rights. Individuals may discriminate on a personal level, but they can't take away their "rights." Sorry I like you but that is just BS.

Okay, I've stayed out of this to this point, but since there's yet another instance of discrimination against gays just within the last 24 hours your incorrect assertion stands out like a sore thumb.

The legal spouse of a member of congress who just died is not eligible to collect benefits (unlike every other spouse of a member of congress who dies) because their 100% legal marriage in this country is not recognized due to the discriminatory "Defense of Marriage" act.

Nothing happened to me. That's just the way I feel. Actually, you know that children would grow up not believing in anything in particular. It's just because the parents teach them a certain way that they believe something.

Why would I have everything to lose? I thought god loved me? Is he so superficial that my little insignificant self not believing in him during my spec of a life is going to bother him so much?

Sometimes the answer to a prayer is, "No." I am amazed at your confidence (some might say arrogance) that God listens to you and answers your prayers when he does not for many others.

I believe that God hears ALL our prayers AND answers them. Sometimes his answer is yes, sometimes no, and sometimes not now. He knows the true intentions and longings of the heart.
