What's with Le Cellier?

This morning was 180 days until out check-in date and the only Le Cellier dinner I could get for our entire week (which is farther out than 180 days) was 9:10 PM on Weds. I was online in the middle of the night and everything was already gone. What gives? We have not been able to get a reservation there on our previous two trips either. Why is Le Cellier more difficult to book than Cindy's Royal Table? They can't be hold all reservations for the CP dinner packages can they?

Try again. There are openings on the 9th and 10th and probably others but I just checked those 2 days.

My friends are going the same week and they couldn't get any reservations for Le Cellier for any sort of Dinner time. We are going from 11/28 to 12/4. And we couldn't get anything even for a party of 4 that week from 2pm on!

And we tried to book it 180 days out as well. Our friends tried the day before we did. Anyone else having any luck with that week?

I donno what you all are doing, maybe its the party size. I just did a few and i got the 11/28 at 12:05 1:10 1:35

The problem is we are all looking for some sort of dinner time. All the dinner reservations (anything from 3pm on) is gone. They were gone on our 180 day mark. Lunch is not as much as a problem. Its the dinners we are all having trouble with.

No dinner times were available even on our 180 day out. We finally scored a 9:15pm reservation which is really late for us since we have a 1.5 yr old, but we are keeping it unless we get any better times.

Maybe make a convenient lunch reservation for now, either an early lunch or late lunch (depending on your little one's nap schedule) From what I've read, you can usually get a lot of the dinner menu at lunch. Then just keep trying for dinner at a decent time.

I wouldn't like a really late dinner with a little one who is that young. It'd be hard to enjoy the coveted meal/reservation if they were thisclose to a meltdown. (though maybe your 1.5 year old has a different sleep schedule than my kids did)

TY so much for the advice Tricia! We may just do that. My little girl is really a good kid, so while its bedtime for her, I think she might be ok. Lots of nights she is not ready to go to bed at 9pm but we put her to bed and she doesn't complain and goes to sleep. So I am hoping she will be ok in December. LOL But I may try for a lunch ressie to have it and talk to the others. Thanks!

Tried that too but the search now checks for a 4 hour span and still no availability during my dates.

Haven't been on the boards for a bit and logged in to post a question about Le Cellier and I see that we're not alone. We'll be there 11/28 - 12/4 and can't get in at all for lunch or dinner the entire week. CM I talked to said its been promoted more and has become really popular. When we were there for our 25th wedding anniversary I don't even think we booked in advance! (of course that was 10 years ago.) Guess I better get busy and book the rest of the week!!!!!

Keep trying! After weeks and weeks of checking periodically I was finally able to get a lunch reservation for 7/22 today

I have a Le Cellier reservation for September 4 (lunch) and I didn't get up early to get it either. Got it well within the 180 day mark (I don't think it's worth going through any hassle to get the reservation, but I do want some mussels for lunch to see if they're as good as they were last year.)

If you can't get dinner, try lunch. I had dinner last time and I am not sure it's all that, at least it's not enough of all that to eliminate lunch as an option.

Don't give up- I checked online twice a day for about 2 weeks, and finally snagged a cancelled reservation for October. I have also read somewhere that a large number of people make way too many reservations and as they finalize their plans, they go thru and cancel the ones they don't want. You may find that these come open a week or two before you get there.
