well Jason....long is a relative term.. one person's long post might be considered by another to be a short post. Some people feel the need to be far more verbose than other people. You know how it is some people can just drone on and on and on and on and on without really saying anything while others get right to the point. It doesnt' make the people that drone on wrong it's just their way of expressing themself's. Brevity is good except when it interferes with clarity. Clarity is, after all, the essence of communication and should really be the ultimate goal in any form of communication. Combining clarity with brevity is really the ultimate goal but I think that clarity is more important then brevity for producing effective communicaton.
Sometimes though brevity can interfere with our ultimate goal of producing clear communication as can being too verbose. It's a matter of striking that happy medium that still allows you to communicate effectively.

you could always just make up a long post, you know, just post nothing. Just to make Corn Flake read it. Because we all know how he loves long posts. You could even just post the same thing over and over again, or just post about posting, that is always fun. I am having trouble thinking of things to post at this point, I am running out of nothings to post. How about the weather, it is a little warmer, but it still cloudy and it is supposed to rain today, I am sick and tired of the rain. Well, I think that is it for now, maybe another long post later, this one wasn't nearly long enough.
