with all the threads being closed with no explanation? Some of them seem pretty innocuous, so I am surprised to see them marked "closed". Then I read through them and nothing seems untoward.

We used to see notes from the mod giving a reason for closing it. Now, nothing. Seems pretty arbitrary. If we don't know why a particular thread was closed, how do we know what is acceptable or unacceptable? (As I said, some of the threads are pretty tame, so I have no idea what the "line in the sand" was.).

I understand that some of our posters are thin skinned, and maybe have a "hot button" issue or two...but removing a particular post or two seems more democratic than closing a thread with no explanation.

Not thinking of any particular thread, just something I've noticed in the last couple of weeks. Since there aren't any "closed because" posts from the mod(s) I can't contact a particular mod to ask them directly.

Could be that the offending post or posts were removed before it was locked. :confused3
