Reading the boards, I've noticed a lot of people shying away from the Peppermarket. It used to be our favorite CS restaurant at WDW! I've heard rumors about fewer food stations and increased prices...? :confused3 What happened to the Peppermarket?

I can tell you we were disappointed with Pepper Market because we had heard such good things about it. In my opinion, the food is overpriced for the quality and the system for me was hard to use as a single parent travelling with my kids. The main issue for us was the issue of my family's food allergies were not addressed as how a regular Disney restaurant would be. We did not feel comfortable that everything was ok. We had an issue with communication about the allergy that angered me and that is why we won't eat there anymore. Loved CSR and would stay there again, just not use their foodcourt.

The food is overpriced, just as all food at WDW is. People seem to have difficulty dealing with the 10% service fee. If WDW had been smart they'd have just increased the menu items by 10% and eliminated the service fee.
With respect to the quality, for a food court it's not bad. Anyone expecting something above "pretty good" at a WDW CS will be let down.

Alright, just wondering! It's been years since we've been. We were considering going again on our upcoming trip in August but are now avoiding it. Thanks for the input!

When we were there in May/June we went to Pepper Market several times and enjoyed it. They have cut back on the menu in the last year so they don't have as much variety as before. But they still have more variety than most food courts and I think it's a little better than most resort food courts.

We went there last year for the first time, so without comparing it to the past,we thought it was terrible. I couldn't eat my burger which nearly never happens - I can almost always eat a hamburger. DH got a sandwich that he said was eh. The french fries were really good - cooked perfectly and well salted!

I don't get the whole waitress at a food court thing. It would make more sense if you put your order in and they brought your food to the table or something. As it was, the 10% charge was to get seated with silverware and beverage service which I wouldn't have minded if we didn't have to hunt down the waitress to get drink refills even though the place was pretty empty.

I liked the warmed up pizza at the grab and go place next door 10 times better.
