What's up with the castle?

I like the stitch castle! I can understand if it was your first time though. My first time was during the infamous cake castle. I didn't expect it to look like that. It was a shock seeing this hotpink stuff all over beautiful Cinderella Castle!

My first time was also the Cake Castle, which I loved. I was a child at the time and thought it was decorated for me, so I didn't have to ask.

I am not going to argue anything about the Stitch Castle because everyone has their own opinions; however, I feel for that family who may have spent all there money going to the World and not understanding the meaning of the Castle being decorated.

ETA: IMHO, I believe the Stitch Attraction could be used for so many other things. Maybe that is why my opinion of this character has changed. Perhaps if it was a ride and not a 'chamber' I would feel otherwise. BUT that is my OPINION.

I read on the Disney newsletter that the crane is due to the continuing construction of the penthouse where people who win the overnight Castle stay will be housed.

I read on the Disney newsletter that the crane is due to the continuing construction of the penthouse where people who win the overnight Castle stay will be housed.

I heard that the crane will be there up until the very end of December and this was from a reliable source. I am disappointed but it is something that has to be done. I didn't expect it to still be there but now that I think about all the removing, painting, and constructing - It is almost certain to remain.

Which is fine. I heard the remove it during the day. (they lower it so it doesn't block any pictures) I hope that still is the case.

It depends on what they are doing whether or not the crane is up during the day. I have been over there when it was down and other days it was right there you couldn't miss it.

I thought I had read that the bling-bling decorations were coming down in September, but some recent pics I saw from last week still show it up.

Anyone know when the stuff's coming down?

my sis works for the contemporary and she was watching them take it down. she cried! it's gone sadly but i kinda like it better with out the add ons. i like the classics
