We are going Oct 15-23. I have started making ADRs, I am getting everything I want! Now, Im not complaining but it seems strange? I have found all the right places and times I want, that has never happened for me before.

Is it just good luck? Or is that not a very busy time? We usually go in December, but during free dining, so ADRs are usually a little busy.

So far I have-

Liberty Tree Tavern
1900 Park Fare
Tusker House (breakfast)
Garden View Tea Room
Ohana
San Angel Inn
Tutto Italia
Kona Cafe (breakfast)
Narcoossee's

Maybe Im not picking as popular places? But I have struggled with some of these previously? IDK?

I'm going the same week and also had an amazingly easy time making my ADRs. I even got CRT for the date and exact time I wanted. I just assumed it is because it was the black out week for most discounts.

Have a great time.

my guess would be no free dining, we are going Mothers Day week and I began making ADRs in March - also got everything.....no free dining, makes me happy, my family are not fans of free dining (only 3 adults) we always do OOP and love it when we get the email for 40% off resort :yay:

I think it is because the number of people going is down tremendously. I am hoping for a code to save us some money. Rumors that free dining are in the works will be fantastic, if it actually happens.

I'm having the opposite problem for ADRs Sep 28 - Oct 4. There have been very limited choices, especially at Epcot. I've got a res for each day, but it's not ideal. Several dinners are pretty late. I just hope my little ones will be able to handle it!

Regards,
C.

In general - October is normally a slow time. However, Epcot also has the Food & Wine festival during that time.

Sometimes you don't want a huge sit down meal if eating at all the kiosk's. Also, many people do the special food and wine pairings that are separate ticketed items.

I think when I went last October, I didn't make a single TS ressie because I spent the money on the tastings.

We're checking in Oct. 22nd so today is our 180 day mark... Booked everything I wanted this morning including Le Cellier and Fantasmic Dinner Package! Other than the FP package, all the times we got were either exactly what I was looking for or within 20 minutes. Also booked our Keys To The Kingdom tour. :cool1:

Le Cellier
California Grill
The Wave
Rose and Crown
Mama Melrose - FP
Liberty Tree Tavern
Captains Grill
Cape May Cafe
Coral Reef

Today is our 180 as well and having traveled this weekend, I got around to this later than I wanted to and NOT the coveted 6am time. Curses! I did get things in the general time. I guess times are relative and hard to guess for me anyway. I was at first bummed I didn't get Akershus until 9:20, but wondering if I should bump it further more like 10:30 and get there at rope drop and grab a fast pass/ride before the breakfast...hmmm.. Also HDDR wasn't available for our week yet online...need to call.

Even if you call, HDDR is not working. I've just been on the phone with everyone at WDW, including the ticket box office, and nobody can book HDDR for that week. I have a headache from listening to too much Disney music while on hold with various people.

Interesting...well, I told my T/A to do that one for me, I'll post if she has any luck. I'll be bummed I really want to go.

I was wondering about that myself. For years I've heard that getting an ADR for Cinderella's Castle Dinner was nearly impossible. We're going Oct 17-22 for our Disneymoon, and we got everplace we wanted, too. (Definetly not looking a gift horse in the mouth! LOL)

Cinderella's Castle Dinner
Chef Mickey's
The Brown Derby
Narcosseses

Like one of the other previous posts I also noticed the Fantasmic Dining package was blocked for Oct.

Booked my ADR's this morning for 10/23 - 10/28 and also got everything I wanted with no problems.

Ohana
Crystal Palace
LeCellier
Sci Fi
California Grill
Coral Reef
Les Chefs De France
:dance3:

Easter Sunday was our 180 day mark and we had no issues with getting where we want, the day we wanted it and within about 10 mins. of the times we wanted. Then again we are doing a bunch of signature dinners and those don't tend to book as fast.

The only 2 ADR's I didn't get the exact times I wanted was I got a 7:50 ADR at Cali Grill when I wanted 8 (Wishes is at 9) and The Plaza on our MNSSHP day I wanted 4:30 for an early dinner and got 4:25. All in all, I can't complain.:thumbsup2

We had a great time on our KTTK tour last May. Does it start before the park opens? We got a great view from one of the allys on MSUSA of everyone running after RD. Our guide, Mathew, was fantastic, but I have heard that the guide can make or break the tour.
