What's the worse bill you pay?

Uh, I am stunned reading some of these posts!

l50 for cable/internet? Wow.

Kitty, you have electric heat. Yep, that must be a dreaded bill!

Our utilities are pretty reasonsable here in SE Minn. Our gas bill (furnace, water heater, stove) runs from about $9. in the summer a month to $l50 a month in the coldest months of winter.

I guess I do detest paying the cable/internet bill which runs about $95. a month. I rarely watch TV, but we need cable to get any channels at all as we live in a low lying area. Antennas's don't work well and I don't want a dish.

Our car ins used to be a whopper till Jeff moved and has his own car and ins. now.

herc.

Electric bill. We have an all electric house.
I had an all electric house until this spring. I converted to gas for heat/hot water and installed central air and an attic fan. My monthly equal payment plan for electric was $244. I'm hopeful that it will drop dramatically. The re-evaluated the budget last month and it's down to $200/month, with gas being about $25/month (although it IS summer, so we'll see). I figure I'll pay the $200/month to the electric company and then have a nice credit when they evaluate next year and have some months I won't have to pay anything.

Otherwise, I'd have to say paying 3 cell phone bills is the worst.

My cable/internet with Comcast is about $87/month. It was a lot more but I called to get the digital cable taken off and go back to basic and they told me they have a special going -- same digital package for only $39.95 per month (was about double that). Add in the cable modem for another $48 or so and it was worth it.

Well my most expensive one each month (well, aside from rent) is my car payment, but it doesn't really bother me because when it's done I still get to keep the car. Rent doesn't really bother me either since, well, it keeps a roof over my head and my rent is at lest 50% lower than everyone else I know in the area (we got lucky).

My least favorite is my car insurance.

Do you have the cable/internet/phone combo plan? We do. It makes it a little less expensive.

LOL! Good one, Dan!

Still no cable TV here. Yikes! Too many choices!! Cable, digital cable, internet, digital phone. A break I guess at $98.50 for all services. But why would you need cable and digital cable? Additional channels? So rather than decide since there's too many choices, I avoid it!

I hate paying my car payment, can't wait till my car is payed off, which won't be for another 3 years or so:(

Well its a close call...either the 5,000 property tax bill or my moms health insurance bill- at least she has some, I have friends who can't even afford any and the ones who can are paying 15,000 a year for a family plan! Sort of makes the Electric bill seem great LOL..that ones only 150.00 a month...I do the budget plan so it stays the same all year and usually we get the last month free...Oil bill is around 150.00 a month-budgeted too...Cable is 150.00 a month...seems to be the number huh??

Come to think of it my car insurance is also 150.00 a month!! Car payment is twice that though!
:scared1: Can I ask what you do for a living? I need a job to cover that! :faint: I swear...gone are the days of going to school for what you're interested in doing. Now you have to choose your career by what's going to pay the bills. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Hence, my decision to NOT go for Elem Ed! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I could live on that salary, I WOULD HOPE, if I were single without dependents.

Our school tax bill came yesterday. $3749.11!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to write the check by 10/4 or there is a penalty.

I hate paying bills. But the one that makes me dread paying is the mortgage. It makes our checking account dwindle down way too much!

Definetely the property taxes. I live in aprilgails area of the cty. and we have to have the taxes paid jan and may. We have a little tiny ranch and the taxes are like $5200 and I am so thankful they have not reassesed our house, its 30 plus years. I cant imagine what the new houses around here are paying. Also had to pay taxes on fil house in another state, but now with the renters coming in oct. we wont have to do that anymore, yippee!!

LOL DAN! No live shows here. The internet is $45/mo.
The rest is HDTV/Cable in too many rooms on the Gold Plan which is just about every channel Comcast has to offer except X's!
None of that in our house!

Gosh, here, I can't say I have a worst. The credit card is the highest, but everything we put on there puts points toward our car. And being military, we don't have to pay rent, electric or taxes on the house, just cable and phone.

BUT, when I lived in that awful old house in Virginia, it was the electric bill, with baseboard heaters.

DH would say taxes and car insurance and I will say student loans, ugh!

Yikes. Looking at these costs for property taxes makes me seriously consider not ever buying a house.

garbage bill just went up $80 per year ouch
from $145 to $225 per year
by far not my most expensive bill but it bugs me

$500 per quarter for car insurance is no fun either

I HATE getting the electric bill. It was over 200.00 this month!!!

I see that you are moving to Florida. I wish my electric bill was just $200. Ours was almost $300 last month here in Orlando and that was with 5 days without electricity because of Charley. The month before it was $325.

I hate paying the electric bill in the summer. Last month it was $261. Our car insurance is $150 every month. I hate both of those. The property taxes are figured into our house payment and that does not really bother me. Especially since yall said what you pay!! Ours is around $1000 a year!!
