What's the weather like in Vegas in September?

We are travelling to Vegas for the first time in September and was wondering if anyone could tell me what the weather is like then? We'll be there from 14th-21st.

How hot will it be? What kind of clothing will we need to take? Will we be able to spend our days lounging by the pool?

Also, we plan on visiting the Grand Canyon while we are there. How hot will it be down in the canyon? Will the heat be too unbearable at this time of year?

Expect it to be hot, like 90 - 100 or so. Bring shorts & sleeveless tops + jeans.

Not sure about Grand Canyon; I've only been once in November and it SNOWED!!!

Both places will be HOT but not unbearable....now if you were coming in July or August, that's when it gets unbearable. Just bring shorts, t-shirts and lots of sunscreen and water

Just so you know, you'll be in Vegas after summer is officially over-don't be surprised if the pool area closes early. This happened to us in May before Memorial day-they closed the pools at 6 and 7 p.m.

It will be Hot. You do not need any type of warm clothing at all.
